| Quote: asmadasa "Thought Ryan was ok but hope he can do more to be honest...doesn't have the impact of Ali/Kirmo but also thought Mcshane tired second half and Wildie should have been in 17.
Saw Anderson running ball in hard and really sticking his shoulder in hard in the tackle...quality prop unlike Scruton who thought was quiet after Amor ran over him in first 10 mins.'"
I remember the Scruton incident put his head on wrong side and was on floor for a few minutes after.

| I can't believe some of our supporters, we have a player take a heavy head knock but carried on playing. We have another playing out of position with an obvious injury but had to carry on because we had run out of replacements and all you can say is to the first he had a quiet game and the second "I expected more".

| His best game for us. Seems to have shifted a bit of the excess timber he was carrying when he got over here which is benefiting him.

| Agree, thought Ryan had a very good game today....no idea why some fans expect Australians to be playing the house down immediately? Anderson is another who is just getting better and better....he's already twice the player Justin Poore was....similar role in softening up the opposition....runs hard and tackles even harder....will prove to be a fantastic signing come the end of the season I reckon....
Scruton took a hell of a knock....it was the first carry Amor took up and he got it all wrong....shook it off and carried on though....tough blokes are these....
Also, regarding Wildie as a replacement for McShane.....that's exactly what Seijka was.....a replacement for McShane as the game went on....circumstances in the game meant it didn't happen that way.....the period where Harry would probably have been pencilled in to come on would probably have been right in the middle of the awful spell where everything was going against us.....was probably why the change was put on hold for a while......then with the injury to Kirmond he came on at centre....let no-one down though and we didnt concede agai while he was on the field.....

| Thought Ryan was great.
Also watched Scruton after that incident and he was leading we every tackle on Amor.
Thought Anderson was outstanding.

| Ryan was definitely my MoM. Committed, passionate and ran hard for 80 mins - looked wasted going down the tunnel at the end.
His commitment was excellent and got him into a little ruck with 20 mins to go.
He thern took the ball to the penalty mark with 10/15 to go and ran straight at offside Amor and got a hell of a belting for his troubles.
Scruton was out cold from the first Amor hit and was massive to carry on as he did.
Though Harry was unlucky to have to come on in thoes circumstances and didn't really get much chance to show anything.
Ryan awesome today, as many of the Saints fans around us were commenting.

| We all see different things that's the nature if the game and Ryan appears a promising signing.
My earlier post wasn't slagging off Scruton just thought the knock affected his game compared to how he has played previously but thought Anderson really put himself about and ran hard.
Thought Agar shouldn't have gambled on Keinhorst and should have played Sykes at centre. Siejka looks quite stocky, has some pace and a step and could be the impact hooker or 6 off the bench.

| I thought Ryan was good, his tackling is brilliant and for a big guy he does get low and takes the legs away.
As has been said his pass for they try was good and he kept going right unitil the end.

Calm Waters don't make good sailors
If you help somebody as you go along then your life hasn't been in vain: |
|
| I know a lot of people liked Henderson for his non stop work rate. Anyone else think Ryan is shaping into a similar type but with a better distribution? He runs some decent lines, tackles well and always gives 100%. He has off loaded a few decent times too. I give you he looks more like a lamppost at 11 foot 6 with strawberry blonde light coloured hair than a rugby player but he seems to be a decent laiker!
Firstly I am saying shaping as its very early days but that's an early call from me
Secondly I know Ryan is no Ali with his offloads but he seems to know a good pass like the one to Kirmond for his try. Although did seem like a blind side training ground move taken to perfection.
So if he does go on to consistently have Hendos work rate with a better pair of hands as he is showingI will be happy. Seems a nice kid too. Keep up the good work lad.
