for the last 9 working days i have been to chorley and back with a round trip of approx 120 miles and have managed to see the grand total of 1 super league stobart lorry..this to me means that the deal is worthless!

the deal is not worthless just becasue you (a confirmed rugby league fan) have not seen a truck.

the deal has been valued at £2.5m+. if it attracts further sponsors and new fans to our game, and dare i say it more viewers to sky and subsequently more advertising revenue for them, then it will be a good deal as they may pay more for the next set of rights etc.

better nothing from them than a pittence from a gambling outfit.

I can beat that i travel to Oldham and back every day to Wakefield a grand total of 90 miles a day, 5 days a week and have yet to see 1 single truck and thats down the m62 every day at varying times of the day as i work in a call and do shifts. So considering this is the corridor of rugby league ive yet to see a single truck with super league on it yet see loads of normal stobart trucks.

there's a rumour that the Salford ones bust

Saw one on Monday on the M1 just south of Watford and one today on the M40 north of Oxford. They look good but a non RL fan would be hard pressed to tell what they are all about if they pass at speed.

I have seen only a non SL Eddie Stobart trailer - the SL ones seem to be rarer than pine martens!

And you work near Stobarts Heywood depot so would expect to see a lot of their wagons about.
