Plenty of space if so, Trinity Walk is killing the place.

| Why not have the portable one in trinity walk, and a shop with free rent in the ridings, and maybe get Trinity walk to sponsor the back of the shirt....

| They need to do something to enliven the place, it's like a morgue!!
Good to see the club getting money out of them though, shows that the marketing Dept is doing well.

If only they did venture through the turnstiles with their HARD EARNED cash?

There were enough units still to let at Trinity Walk last week. Can't imagine the rental for this particular location would make it worthwhile, though. A location in the Ridings in exchange for publicity would be a good deal, IMO.

Perhaps they'd be more inclined if they saw the LOCAL POPULATION venture through the turnstiles with their HARD EARNED cash.

| I don't think there was ever a realistic chance of the club having a store at Trinity Walk, and a unit in the Ridings will be much more financially viable. With the retailers currently leaving the Ridings, a Wildcats store which is quite unique and not part of a chain, could be seen as quite appealing to both parties. The club had the old Toy Master unit a while back for a weekend, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the club trying it again in the build up to Christmas, hopefully on a more permanent basis.

A 2 weeks ago i was in the mobile unit on trinity walk and one of the girls said they were getting a unit on trinity walk expected to be open within the next couple of months. Hope so would do more buisness through footfall than the ridings.

| Either way, it's good news - I've not seen the figures, but I'd be willing to bet that our commercial revenues are significantly up since Martin Hopkins came into post.
Don't know about anyone else, but it's starting to feel to me like WTW is creeping back into the fabric of Wakefield life - some sound commercial partnerships with Wakefield businesses, a better relationship with the Wakefield Express and of course, continued excellent work in all sorts of communities within the WMD; maybe the tanker IS starting to turn around?
