snippet from the website
'Due to this high demand Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover has now extended the offer. Fans can now purchase the super saver tickets up until kick off on Sunday.'
www.wakefieldwildcats.co.uk/2011 ... %E2%80%99/
so looks like you can either pay on the gate or just go to the club shop, I would say that you would have to go to the club shop.
I old gentleman was at the shop today collecting his ticket today,
he mentioned how long it had been and was pleased to see a drop in price that made it that he could afford it

| You certainly get the impression AG values customers/fans and knows how to treat them properly. Also, let's not forget, he's making up the shortfall in price to the club. If we get an 8,000+ crowd on Sunday, which we'd all love to see, that will cost him a pretty penny and represent a considerable cash injection.

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg |

Good marketing, but it will not be costing him much. He is only refunding money to people who had already bought tickets in at the full price. In the cicumstances I don't think that will have been many, do you?
8000 crowd will be like 4000 at full price. It's not something that will happen often but it is a good way to start off his reign.

| I would rather have a ground nearly or full every home game than half to three quaters empty. I have been calling for actions like this from the club for years. yes 8000 fans paying ten pound equates to 4000 paying full. I know a few people last season and this if we are playing poor or its poor weather they will say im not paying twenty quid...put it at a tenner...im going and whos to say we will get 4000 !
Its all about perception how does it look to RFL our ground nearly or full every home game.
How must the team feel playing in front of a big vocal home crowd every time.
Halifax were fiddling their figures last year giving out free tickets even if they didnt go they were including them to get their average crowd up to tick the box for SL.
Lets put two fingers up at the RFL and do this deal more often...and compensate the season ticket holders.

| Great offer, which will result in a long term financial gain and increased fan base. Whilst also increasing merchandise sales, drink and food, programme etc. Good money spinner and great marketing

That's not how I read itNew Wakefield Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover will be paying the difference in price back to the club and has agreed to refund the difference, as either a £10 cash payment or a £15 Wildcats Superstore credit note for any supporter that has already purchased their ticket for the Salford game before this super saver offer was created.[/i
A bit more generous than you make out.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |

| If it is to happen again my guess would be vs quins or crusaders.
Great deal but £10 every game I doubt will be feasable which I can understand.

That's not how it works, AG has stated he will make up the difference to the club so if:
8,000 crowd
6,000 paying £10
2,000 paying £6
Then AG will pay £72,000 to the club to make up the shortfall to the club!
Superb offer from our new Chairman

| Yes agree. Alf you are pointing out what most of us already know on here. The fact that you are trying to draw attention to it is conceived as negative and not wanted now do one.
