| serves them right then hahaha that would be funny. hang on then there would be no club...
hmmmm still funny that they couldn't wait to rip us to pieces.
i think its absolutely disgusting whats going, other clubs should be showing some support in our hour of need, so far i've only heard of warrington and tony smith offering help. what happened to the rugby league spirit and community? like someone mentioned before when this happened to bradford - the others got together and supported them, let them use their players and get a team together.
money is the root af all evil, the worlds gone money mad, no morals...

Simple, it's not 1964 any more. Professional sport is a business now. That's reality.

| Any SL club with a big squad will be happy to loan players to us, to contribute to paying their wages and give them SL experience. It's not a charity, and grateful as we may be to Tony Smith and others, they're only doing it in the interest of their own clubs. As soon as these kids look like world beaters, or injuries hit, we'll be back where we were.

It went south after a few clubs helped a team enter the super league by giving them money to make sure they made a go of it, with assurances that this team would fight the lower leagues corner, which never happened
payback time .... no sympathy whatsoever

| Why was it that when London and Crusaders fell over, by and large other clubs did not immediately come in for their players - yet when you fall over the vultures are straight in?
Surely there cannot have been some edict from Rot Hall telling clubs hands off for those two, yet no such edict for you guys?
Can't think of anything else though that would account for the dramatic difference in circumstances. Any of you guys got any ideas?

The Parkin none deal cost the administrator's a fair wedge and the sales were to recover this, or so I think I read in one of the many links on this forum.

It certainly feels that way; from the outside looking in, one could surmise that the delay in declaring Mr Glover a 'fit and proper person' created a convenient window in which the administrator could fatally weaken our playing staff. An uncompetitve WTW would make the pre-determined decision to boot us out of SL a much less politically uncomfortable one for the RFL to spin.

Do you not think the players have a right to worry about their future career, Family and income ?.
If my job was at risk or i was potentially not being paid. i would be happy with being sold off to another club who will pay my wages, Especially when that club is guarenteed to stay in the elite.
