| Tbf you keep going on about RL vultures... How much did you pay Widnes for Grix, Wilkes & Blanch when we were in administration?
And as for grounds, NM is what number attempt / promise? The RFL system may be one issue but Wakey played the last few more than there fair share I'm sure you'd agree?

Is it our fault our players want to leave as they are worried for there livelihoods. You are the clown ! Its a joke'"
It is the fans fault for not supporting the team. Nobody has ever said it is the fans fault for anything else - only you. The RFL are NOT to blame for our present position, the sooner people realise this the sooner we can get on with the job of rebuilding.

Cas's ground isn't much better than ours and they have maintained their crowds, even had more than us when they were relegated. So it can't be entirely the ground can it. We have to been mismanaged, we conned the RFL some years ago by playing at Oakwell. we got away with that. Why as a rugby mad city as you suggest cant we fund our own stadium. Our small town neighbours have paid for everything by them selves. IF they do get it built credit to them.
The question is why can't we? Is it because the RFL have stopped us? No, it is because we have failed to balance the books for years now and have been on a slow and near terminal decline. Hopefully new owners can turn things around and we can rebuild. Recognising the mistakes is part of that process so that they are not repeated again.
This may be unpalatable to some, but we have to get our own house in order to progress. It is easy to blame somebody else for our own failings. Stop looking for a scape goat, the buck stops here.

Add to that Newlove and Rooney while Featherstone were having regular meet-ups with the taxman.

Rugby mad city? Let's look at some figures:
Wakefield has a population of 78,000+ people and roughly 3,500 of those are Wakefield fans (if you imagine that all Wakefield fans come from Wakefield which they don't)
Rugby mad city? I don't think so...

No not rugby mad, but definitely the potential to be that way. The years of on field failure and run a down stadium has taken it's toll and a lot of the RL fans in Wakey. I'm sure that a new stadium and a well run club with investment, would have brought some of the people, that stop at home and in the pubs back to watch Trinity . You only have to live and work in Wakefield and speak to friends and work colleagues to know that there are people out there, waiting to come back and support Trinity under the right circumstances.

| i am a wakefield fan and just to let you known it is a labour counciller who has referred it, if people had of voted conservative we would not been in this much trouble. It is because the touries need to
win votes where as labour seem to think they have wakefield as a stonghold so it dosen't matter what they do, so the fact is wakey fans maybe shooting there selves in the foot. Basically we have a council an i have heard a key couciller is from castleford because a ralative is very good friends with him and the counciller is a cas fan so it is bent an looking bad for wakey in every direction

78.000 ha ha your having a laugh try 78 x 2 ! Did you count the 5 cities in that. And as for the other guy the jungle is great for rugby belle vue is a dump. Also why did the RFL tell anyone that they will be kicking anyone out before the plans were in? This as hindered us getting players and its extremely unproffessional .

Disgrace and Shudds you can have your ground with 3 fans in every week and your 2 fans who travel away you are vultures. Enjoy as you will allways be a club that will never improve your fan base.'"
Sorry but please be quiet
Without going searching for the figures for the last few seasons, I would guess Huddersfields attendances are probably higher than yours, And they certainly take as many fans away these days. They are a club on the up, And this is business, Yes its a family sport. But if they didnt sign Dale, Another club would.
Just face it, If your BOD hadnt got you into the mire, None of this would have happened, The RFL, Administrators and bosses at other clubs are just doing their jobs.

Didn't the council pass NM and it was called in from the very top?

| Its not the RFLs 'fault' - our dumbass BOD have played right into their hands...
The RFL (soon to be renamed SKY) have an agenda to expand the game. Therefore the 'heartland' clubs will always have to be whiter than white to survive the franchise system . Unfortunately we have been far too grubby in the majority of our dealings with the rfl. You cannot expect to thrive on a history of unfulfilled promises and financial plight.
This will be a story that will be repeated at every re-franchise. So our esteemed super league brotherhood - enjoy the next three / ten / fifteen years.
In 15/20 years I reckon the SKY Football league will probably include the following old established clubs... Leeds / Wigan / Saints / Hull / Salford (as long as they rebranded as RL United of Manchester) / Huddersfield (stadium and sugar daddy permitting) and probably Warrington. Add in the always protected London / Wales / Catalan .. then where will the expansion come from...
Widnes / Hull KR / Cas / even Bradford ... beware

| You have to look real. How many years has
1 - The sell of the ground moving to a new ground been dragging on for?
2- How many times has the tax man been chasing.
3 - How many promises have been made by the BOD but never been met.
The club has been mismanaged for years in all aspects be that playing staff, financial and commercially. It was many a promise of the last round of franchises that has allowed Trin to play in Super League in the last 3 years.
