Aye! Gaskell had an excellent game imo not sure what youre on about tbh.
It was a 40 metre break and he should have had a support player with hi, hardly his fault is it. Honestly you really are negative at times.

| Quote: Hopwood "It's about building excitement before the start of the season proper. Encouraging those who gave not already bought a season ticket to get one. More on Twitter, more on the website more on Trinity T.V. It costs very little and doesn't take up a lot of time. A few player interviews, some training videos. Etc'"
There was plenty of "Reece L stuff", on social media, inc video interviews.
Where were you looking?

Give him a break FFS, he's not Lewis Murphy or Lee Kershaw....

| Well all in all I enjoyed my day amongst the movers and shakers in the Neil fox suite ,and an opening pre match speech from Kelepi who said that the problems with the drop off of the second half performances last season he put it down squarely to lax intensity in the fitness routines , make of that what you will . Anyway not quite wined and dined , but lovely grub ,brilliant service and a decent warm up game watched from my lofty position , Looking down on the poor wretches in the western terrace

| Enjoyed the game first half we looked well organised and Fax gave us some good opposition. Second half I thought the young lads went well a few errors cost us but one has to learn somewhere. Fax did well with the short kicks. Thought Smith looked really good really pleased we signed him. Obviously at Warrington they couldn't wait for him to be ready, a season at Fev has benefitted him no end I can see him being potent in attack with ball in hand and his short kicks. His defence was pretty good too

| Quote: vastman "Although I get the point both of you make I don’t think you can underestimate the disruption that the redevelopment is causing.
Up until air started there was plenty on Trinity TV and on social media. At the moment a lot of staff are doing extra duties to cover. The development alone takes up most of the time of the main two directors.
All efforts at the moment are focussed on actually getting matches on. Anyone who went today will see how messy it all is. Keeping fans safe is number one. Keeping the corporates happy is not far behind,
Most fans will be patient I’d have thought but corporates are harder, there are plenty of options out there.
Things will eventually click into place, but at the moment it shows just what a small scale operation we currently are.'"
I can’t totally accept the point … Trinity have almost 46,000 followers on Twitter alone… every one of those is a potential… fan who hasn’t attended… purchaser of membership … merchandise or investor.
In this day and age there is just as much ( if not more) commercial potential on line as in person (and it’s huge on the IMG agenda)
Halifax made more than 3x more posts during the game… and far more detailed.. and quicker
To those at the game it matters not… to the 43,000 who were not outs a missed opportunity … not whinging but attempting to make a strong point.
Anyhoo… looks like a decent run out

It’s a point and reasonable enough. Just asking you to accept that there are reasons and that the club are aware of some shortcomings.
However with a tiny staff and a million non RL issues to attend to its a stretch.
Normal service will be resumed as they say.

| Vastman has become the apologist for the status quo. If the club is ever going to progress they need to move with the times. Football clubs make a fortune from fans who never go to games through clever marketing of merchandise and media. Increasing crowds would be great but its not the only way a club acan be successful on and off the field.

I think 'apologist' is unnecessarily strong... he's working hard as a volunteer ATM and as such will get to see where things are stretched...
my point is about commercial activity in the 21st century... its not like the 1970s and we have generations whose primary experience of life is on their social media apps (even Twitter and Facebook are passé to most of the younger generation)... the market place moves so quickly

He did give valid reasons and said that it would be rectified in time...
If it bothers you that much, get in touch with the club and offer [iyour[/i services...
I'm sure they'd be delighted and greatly received.
