Yes it was. If you read my comments, I wasn't comparing the two incidents nor the individuals, merely the significance
I challenge anyone to recollect and then tell me of a single individual error during the period between Don Fox's in 1968 and Grix's in 2017 of greater or even similar significance.

Sideshow Bob in the cup semi final at the Keepmoat against Hull. I recollect him making more than one significant error in that game.

| I find it interesting that a player is not allowed to be human. We all make mistakes - some more than others - in all parts of life. I know that players are professionals and paid to make as few errors as possible but show me a player that has not made some errors. I bet all those complaining have made mistakes at work and they are being paid to do a job as error-free as possible. When those mistakes happen also reckon they really appreciate it when they others help sort out the mess rather than just criticising. Sometimes sh*t just happens.

| He goes with my thanks and best wishes - he's been a big part of what WT has achieved during his tenure, and it's clear he's given his all when on the pitch.
Fair play - a proper pro, a great player and a thoroughly decent guy.

Possibly but we did get back to 18 - 16 by halftime and Broughy missed quite a few goal attempts so definitely better opportunities to still recover.
I always thought Chris Feather's loose carry about 18 minutes past 8 on Friday October 1st 2004 was the most costly error until Grix's. We were bringing the ball out at 14 nil up in the play offs and Wigan were rocking but they got possession and scored off the set. So close to progression to the elimination final as it was then called. Wigan got on a roll and we didn't score again.

Apologies, I misunderstood the challenge. I thought you meant any player not just players whose surname started with 'G', ended in 'X', with 'R' & 'I' in the middle

Hundreds of great memories. Regularly, including very recently, mention stuff concerning such as Solomona and Poching. Keith Smith also gets plenty. Make it thousands.

| Best of luck to Scott, unless he's involved against us. He was a big part of the improvement in the team climbing the league. That is what he deserves to be remembered
for.

| Well I for one have to admire Wallo on this one.
He never liked Grix and he still doesn’t - what’s wrong with that?
I liked Grix but I can accept others don’t. He’s not slagged him off as a person just doesn’t rate him as a player and is happy to say so.
I get annoyed at people who pick on young players because I don’t think it’s fair - give them a chance. At 35 Grix is not young and his career is now open for discussion - that doesn’t mean it can only be a round of back slapping, he’s bound to have his critics.
I do and I’m a genius.

Was that the same match BJ and korkidas were sent off my Ashley Kline for minor/made up infringements?
We had Wigan well beaten too, I seem to recall Andy farrel carried Wigan on his own the last 15 minutes of that game, he's was at the end of his RL career but was still amazing, he was a once in a generation player
