I've never enjoyed visiting HKR; it used be the stand that necessitated binoculars to see the action, and more recently the over zealous stewarding of the uncovered stand behind the sticks, regardless of the level of hirsuteness (or otherwise) of said stewards, makes for an unpleasant experience as a visitor.

That said, I did once get handed free tickets by a passing Stanley Gene, so that took the edge off a bit.

I remember the first game at their place when they came up into SL, they'd just bought that old golf stand and at the side of it was a mud bank with a burger bar on it, I'd got that much mud caked on the inside of my trousers the wife wouldn't believe I'd been to a match.

Havent had much of a reason as I only support a super league team - wakefield, we are going but advanced purchased tickets in main stand so we will be the only ones in there celebrating on the day h

It's on the independent Hull KR forum, a bit like the Cas forum. I quoted that comment because it's unusually arrogant from a Hull KR fan. You expect these types of comments from Leeds fans or Wigan.

Will definitely be going, now have a blue badge for car have sent three emails to club inquiring what the arrangements are for disabled parking but have received no reply, so called today only to be put on hold and be told that the call was costing 13 p a minute. The club actually have a premium rate phone number as its main number!!!!!

Don't mind HKR they're a proper RL club and always bring plenty to Belle Vue glad they're back in SL.

You have my sympathy, the administration at Hull KR (in my past experience) has been very poor. Often they are not responding to e-mails, not making birthday announcements when specifically requested and agreed or charging postage on e-tickets! - they then promised to look into the matter and never responded further.

I know somebody who used to work at Hull KR for a few years and they said the administration was pretty poor. However, having said that I shouldn't just focus on this one club. I've had a number of interactions with a few clubs over the years and the administration has been variable to poor. Including one club's mascot not turning up for an event which had been pre-paid for! (I did get a full refund though and an apology).
