As for our ability to make new signings, we have cut the squad back and created room under our self imposed player budget for new signings. Some will be juniors, some will be bargain basement but don't rule out the odd quality signing in the vein of Aiton, T Smith, Collis, ie an experienced player looking to resurrect his career and willing to accept much less to do so.

Richard Agar has a proven track record for finding and securing such players.

200k a season he wants. I would rather have 4 average players on 50k each. You never know when he is going to get fed up & throw his rattle out his pram and say im fed up of living here and playing for this club or this code. Wont be coming to FC.

Doubt relegation will happen to you lot broncos if anyone you still got some good players. Think your chairmans done well to wipe the debt before 2014 starts bit tough losing stars but keeping in SL is the main. You will soon attract decent players again youve done it before. Aslong as you lot keep pouring in and supporting, and tbf once its in your blood its hard to walkaway. lol. What id like to know from clan, is a while ago discussing our academy with him I pointed out that he had an ulteria motive as a coach of a u14 team in Wakefield to have a close relationship with our academy coaches several times I saw him upstairs watching the academy games with them at the time he denied a special relationship ,but now he's telling us who we are signing ,some juniors , some cheapies, some who might cost us a bit is he guessing, or really in the know,over to you

What's wrong with his relationship, surely the club should be trying to establish better ties with local clubs? And surely as a former pro for the club he should have a special bond with the club?

No you said I had a relationship with our U16s which I absolutely had not, my opinions were purely my own and not positively or negatively swayed by any past or present connection to the players or coaches.

This year I've joined the coaching staff of our Academy but other than watching I'd had no input or connection to last years U16s.

With regard to possible signings, I'm speculating and making educated guesses just like everyone else.

Roberts is a better player than Tim Smith... IMO. But I doubt we could attract him!

Earning a good whack in the UK is a pittance compared to an equvelant job in AUS. Trinity need to look for players who want an adventure or to extend their playing career... No one will come for the money (we can afford anyway).
