Why is it tiresome to question ? ( in fact no reason as been given ) into why he as gone, on one hand people are crying out for experience and creativity and on the other they are happy to let a player with both assets leave.
Like him or not he did offer on occasion something different and was on a long contract and he was let go for free (did we owe Bradford money ?)

To me it was a very strange transaction at this time of the season and for what it's worth his kicking game alone, compared to what we saw, would have been enough contribution against cas.

Didn't feel we were at our best in parts, but overall i didn't feel we lost either.
Much more at stake today than progression to the QF's and i thought both clubs came out of it well.

We all know Jeffries had class but it was rarely on show. If we are to build for the future I firmly believe we need to avoid this type of player unless we have a squad who can compensate for this which at present we don't.

This Jeffries thing can be done to death but we have 2 young English players who are working on their game and trying to improve whilst been in the main consistent.

Maybe we don't need to sign anyone. Moore is waiting in the wings and already has the kicking game. He should be tested before we look elsewhere.

I agree with giving Moore his chance now as i've put elsewhere. I'd play Wildie alongside him, shift Lee to interchange hooker so we don't lose as much when Rinaldi is spelled and move Hyde to fullback where the extra space might just benefit his running game. It also means that everybody is playing in their natural positions. Gotta be worth a go I reckon, we need some extra attacking threat from somewhere.

Yep, my opinion and one i'm sticking to. Personally think his game would suit fullback better but time will tell.

Not for me, Blaymire if fit should be first choice. Hyde's 'running game' is not of a sufficient standard to compensate for Blaymire's superior defensive abilities imo

Fair point but I'd like to see how Hyde would handle the defensive side of it now. He did look a little bit like a rabbit in the headlights in his one game there last year but that was his first ever first-team game and against a very good and in-form saints side at the time.

Think he will start with Wildie at 7 Lee at 6 and then bring Moore from the bench at 7, moving Wildie to 9 and spelling Rinaldi. He wont play with 2 less experienced pivots from the off, so i would guess that Lee will remain at 6.
