Agree with all of that, top man on and off the pitch. Will be remembered for his committment to the cause and also for leading us through one of our darkest years last year . Last year for me was the true measure of the man leading the team through the tragedies and honouring Adams memory by giving his all for the shirt. Its a pleasure to have watched him and bigger pleasure to know him and his family. Lets all get behind his 3 month testimonial and show how much he has meant to us all.

| Gutted.
Fantastic player for us a true 100%'er.
Sad to see him move on. I hope he can end his time with us with a playoff achievement.

| I've been a strong critic of JD over the last few seasons and wouldn't have complained if this decision had come a year or two ago, but have always maintained that he has been a great servant to the club. The memory that will last longest will be his run from inside our own in-goal area against Bradford during our run for survival - IMO that run is what guaranteed our survival, the game against Cas just rubber-stamped it.
JD, thanks for a great service to the club & all the best for the future.

| Do you reckon Leigh would have a chance of signing him, how many seasons do you reckon he's got left in him. Would he work well with Wobbie and Duffy?

| players come and players go but we have been luck to have had a loyal servant to our club, they are far a few between most just think about chasing the fast buck as we have learned to our expense,
his career could of ended early but for the op on his neck and the defiant year playing #8 speaks volumes for him as a player and person, so I just like to wish Jason every success for the future in what ever he decides to do and a thank him for the fond memories on the pitch, the bradford returning ball run will live with me for ever

| there are so many fond memories of Jason
He stands alongside the stalwarts of our club.
Phil Clarke's quote...
" JD has improved every season since coming into the game in the UK"
says it all and that was only a couple of seasons ago... he will do a sterling job for a lower graded team... but time catches up with us all... it is a shame he has to change club to keep playing!!

| JD's shown more loyalty than a lot of the so-called fans. I really hope we can pull something out of the hat for the remaining games to secure a playoff place and give him the send-off he deserves.
Good luck to you in the future, JD, and thanks for everything you've done for our club!

I dare say you show more loyalty to your employer than the majority of it's customers do. At the end of the day as fans we are customers.
Only a Wakefield 'supporter' could turn what is a tribute by fans for a wonderful servant of our club into a dig at other supporters.
Really there is a time and place for having a dig and I am pretty sure that this thread isn't it.
