Crazier than Hendo?

Hendo reminds me more and more of Jacko as the weeks go on. All he needs now is a broom and some reactalite glasses to complete the look.

Yes, Hendo is just plain crazy Murphy runs like he is bandy legged but it works for him.



OT slightly, heard a story the other week (reliable source). Whilst talking to Sam after the Catalan match (I think) a friend of mind said that he thought Hendo took a massive battering, Sam replied without a hint of a smile "that's what he is there for" - made me laugh.

For the two trys that Menzies scored Murphy was left exposed out on our left, the first one was a case of two players jumping for the ball and it was pot luck who came down with it although Murphy was at a disadvantage being further from the ball, but having been criminally exposed for the first one we should have learned a bit quicker and made sure it didn't happen again so i wouldn't call Murphy for those, there are plenty of times so far this season that he has been left in that position and stunted the opposition attack.



As for Bibb making a mistake that might have cost us the game, had we shown more composure and a bit more guile in any of the numerous sets that we had on their line in the last twenty minutes we would have been out of site by the time the hooter went, as it was I think we only completed one of those sets.



Seemed like there was a bit of fatigue setting in at the back end which was understandable, a win is a win considering we've played two games in four days and there are times in the past when we would have been having orgasms over a win against Bradford but some of our lot aren't happy now unless we're doing it like St Helens every week

Whilst in no way suggesting that Murphy is dropped for Petersen I do think that Petersen is another one of those players who is given a bit of a hard time by our fans. He injured his shoulder in the first couple of minutes in that game and that certainly contributed to his lack of competitiveness in going for those bombs.

I think given a good run of games to prove himself Petersen would be a great asset to us, although he may have to wait quite a while to get his chance.

I think that Pitts and Murphy are putting in the level of performance required to compete for a starting place in the team regardless of injury/suspension. I think bibb needs to show much more and to be honest I dont think it will help his progression if everyone focuses on his age rather than the fact that he is a full time professional at a super league club. He is not giving Kear any headache regarding team selection when others are fit Bibb will be dropped. If he does not take his chance now then the next time somewhere down the line (maybe in a years time) will be make or break for his career. And whoever said that wilkes took his time hitting form when he came to the club - you have got to be kidding me. Wilkes is dynamic Bibb is plodding.

Let's be fair, to all the lads (even hendo!!!) we have had a magnificent start to the season, better than a lot of us "experts" predicted!! We've played some good stuff and overall they've given us a lot to be proud of, in what have been very difficult times.

The likes of Bibb pitts murphy etc are the long term future of our club and need support, they will make mistakes all through there careers, so let's get behind them now, enough young players have left this club and gone on to bigger and better things, some for the money and dome because they were disalusioned for one reason or another!! We as supporters play our part in that.

Experienced players make mistakes so give the young boys a break!!

Not wanting to be harsh or personal but it is a simple synopsis.

Professional sportsmen take the money - take the glory - take the critiscism and make the most of all of it.

Petersen is going to be a huge success in my opinion. What I saw I liked - he wants the ball and will come in and take the pressure off the forwards by making numerous good carries just lkike Blanch.

Not alot of difference there as far as i can see, the main difference being metre's made although that is due to more carries.

Massive differance in the missed tackles......in Bibbs favour! (in Wikes defence l guess he has played more minutes!)

Exactly, If anybody should shoulder the blame for both of Menzies tries' it should be Atkins. The 1st one he came in and took the wrong man and left Murphy with a 2 on 1 leaving him with no chance. And the second try Murphy did not have a Wakey player within 5 yard of him. Everybody in the ground knew what Jeffries was going to do Murphy included who was shouting for help, without sounding too critical if Atkins was where he should have been then perhaps Menzies might not have scored at all and got a mention because imo he did nothing else worthy of note considering he is supposedly their stand out player.

Lies, dammned lies and statistics.

You expect Wilkes to have slightly more errors, missed tackles, more carries and more metre's due to how long he plays.



I was just using those stats to show that Bibb a relative inexperienced prop is doing a great job and that two errors albeit in a bad part of the field do not take away from how he's played this season.

Well of course if they don't suit, in my experience they are far more accurate than the opinions of fans myself included.

No need to employ scouts anymore then!

Kyle is a young lad with bucket loads of potential, give him TIME, anyone who knows anything about RL knows props mature a hell of a lot later than backs! Graham and Burgess are by no means the norm!



We could very well have diamond in the rough, just might take some polishing and some time! And no-one seems better qualified than JK! Best in the business for player development by a country mile!

Scouts and fans are two completely different things surely. A scout is a RL professional who knows his business, a fan is just a fan though some on here seem to consider themselves a bit more.



If you went on what fans on here spout, Blaymire has been anything between Platts the clowns understudy to the finest F/B ever to grace the British game. An opinion held by some almost simultaniously.



It's a myth to say stats lie, it's how people choose to use them that makes them true or false. I'm fairly sure JK knows the difference don't you.

Here is a perfect example of why you shouldn't listen to fans.

from what i have seen i would rather have Murphy on the wing rather than Peterson



yes Bradford scored 2 tries on his wing yesterday but like all teams should they kicked to the least experanced winger



Menzies is a class player and Murphy was left defending a massive area alone, should the centre not have helped out more

also Murphy did some outstanding tackling one on one



i just hope that he is not going to be the next target when other teams score
