A good win for Stanley Reds (30-24) against a really impressive Doncaster outfit.
For a team that's only been in existence for about 3 months, they're going great guns.

| good win today for the Stanley Rangers U14s at Dudley Hill winning 10-30
shocking weather from the start made for a very cold fog encounter.
Dudley found it hard going to get any attack going and at times left their left hand side so open that I couldn't understand why our lads didn't take more of advantage they kept plugging away and got two tries in the end.
our lads never really hit top gear but showed some super moves to take an easy victory

East Hull won the semi final easily enough by all accounts - so it's them to play at BV ( Dec. 11th -12.30 ko is what I've heard ).'"
congatulations to east hull who beat their big rivals west hull 38-10 in the barla semi to set up a mouthwatering final against crigg which im sure will be a hummdinger.ill be going their has a neuteral has ive got friends in both camps so ill be pleased for who ever wins the game, i can see this been a classic!
i watched the crigg v lane game yesterday seemed it to go on forever, their are some right numnuts that referee from the wakefield district im still waiting to come across one that is able to get through a game without making a t1t of himself.the game its self was a tense affair understandably and im sure both teams will feel they can play better but the better team won on the day allthough at half time i felt locklane were very unfortunate not to go in with the lead but credit to crigg they were far more dominant in the second.

Met some great rugby people from the West Riding on Easts 'Tour' and I am sure this will go for the final at BV on the 10th.
Hope we can be a credit to our our league!

did not go but i heard that the showstopper was centre of attention again , as for the half time lead our lass swearers blind crigg were losing and your all wrong .
gutted to miss but that's life next week is any easy trip to stanningley which compared to the last few weeks ......not that any trip to that part of leeds is easy .
and i echo your congrats to eastmoor , great to see the boys get something for the hard work

Outwood victorious by 46 points to nil
my lad stuck another 3 tries on the board but the worrying thing is one of the Holmfirth lads suffered a dislocated elbow and had to have the ambulance called out, he told me that they applied ice to the injury before they had got there, he told he that they shouldn't of done that as it makes it harder to get back in.
anyone have any knowledge on this type of injury?

My lad played in last weeks round for Ossett Academy yr 8; they beat Campsmount (from Doncaster) by 68-4.
Some proper drubbings being dished out in round 1 - hopefully it will start to get a bit more competitive from now onwards.
