A mixture is whats needed, no good having just one type on the committee, its needs balance and it won't work without it.
Not voting for you though

| Quote: chapster "no ones having a go SC, but I think like any organisation in your position ie set up under crisis effectively, you are going to have to be seen to be clean of all previous ties to whats going on now, which I know you personally are, others may have to realise a few years away from the top table influencing from a quiet corner is better, for now.'"
I have some sympathy with that, but it doesn't stop the work that is required to be done and, as someone who has stood up to do this, I feel that a little bit of respect for the hard work wouldn't go a miss.
We do what we do because we think it best for the club. There is nothing I have done to be ashamed of, and the work towards NM etc must continue. The Trust is integral to ensuring that we have a club to take to NM and that we retain as many 'friends in high places' as we can.
I have no doubt that our actions will eventually win through and I would plead with all, sceptics included, to at least allow us the chance to do this - together, as one, even allowing for the varied opinions that we have. True democracy must allow for all to be heard but for the majority to hold sway!

you may not have to, im in negotiations with mopsey about a coilition between our brute force and intellegence parties, mopsey to do all the public speaking cos hes tall and people will see him from behind the table, and me to do all the writing because i can string together a coherant sentence and then eventually corruptly seize power and cream of all the cash.
VOTE MOPSEY will be our campaign slogan cos it has the words vote and mopsey in it so people wont ask many questions,

The bank loan was DEFINTIELY repaid from the first tranche of money. Incompetent as Bank of Scotland may have been shown to be over the last few years, they definitely made sure their loan was repaid before releasing their charge over BV.

Miaow, give it a rest, I don't know what sort of crusade you think you're on but you're wide of the mark and it's irritating.
We is the Trust refers to the people who have steered things this far, there are about 14 people involved who are trying to get answers on behalf of the fans.
When the Trust is legally formed there will be a vote, one each per member, to form an Executive Committee.
If you want a say why not put your hat in the ring and say it up front and in the proper manner otherwise you undermine yourself with the silly snipes at people who have put time, effort and money into trying to create something good, useful and needed.

| Just to add a bit to the mix, especially to alleviate the concerns of those who seem to have concerns about who comprises the Trust Board.
We held our first AGM of Bullbuilder - The Bradford Rugby League Supporters Society Ltd - this evening. This is OUR Supporters' Trust, and we pretty well adopted the Supporters' Direct "Model Rules" when we set it up early last year. And followed the Supporters' Direct model election policy and rules.
I presume your Trust will adopt pretty well the same rules and policies - you'll have to if Supporters' Direct are to sponsor your registration.
In that case, know that under those Rules EVERY ONE of the initial Board (or "Executive Committee, if you like) HAD to stand down and stand for-election. By the members. One man one vote. First AGM, every one of us. No exceptions.
If you do not like your Board/Executive Committee, all you have to do is to use your vote. And, preferably, put yourself up instead.
Supporters Direct are VERY strong on ensuring democracy is paramount, and a clique cannot hold sway against the members' wishes. Trust me - I speak from experience. Indeed, they are little short of obsessive about it. No, they ARE obsessive about it.
I have just read what "The Clan" wrote above. If your Trust is set up anything like ours, "The Clan" is spot on.

| If lets say there are 3000 very keen Trinity fans who attend home matches no matter what, and then another 1000 who sometimes come and watch depending on pre match events, how the team is playing etc. Then it would be fantastic and a reasonable target, IMO, to attract 2000 Trinity fans to join the Trust, Lets say the Trust members vote to set the anual joining fee at say £ 20. That would generate £ 40,000 p.a. That buys a lot of shares if the new company offers shares or it buys several of the very best under 16 players for our academy. Either way the Trust becomes very influential.
