| We seem to have hit on a magic formula.
Home shirt - fairly traditional rugby shirt, alternating the main colour red/white/blue on a 3-year cycle. Most will buy this, particularly older end/traditionalists. And sufficiently different to buy one each year.
Away shirt - a bit different/ casual sportswear, probably aimed at the younger end / those with more disposable income who want 2 shirts.
Replica shirts exist to make money for the club.
The other merchandise has come on by leaps and bounds under the current regime for quality/design and delivery/availability.
It's not long since obtaining club merchandise was really difficult and was limited in variety and really poor quality. (and it had a cartoon cat on it )

| It’s a great looking shirt, fantastic colours and promoting the hospice, what’s not to love? Well done MC.

Well done the main sponsor who I assume waved the right. It's actually great to see us put something back into the community. It's nice to be positive rather than us looking like the charity case.
There is no monetary gain in this for us, we are more than just a business. I do hope certain people take note. I also hope we set a trend in RL with this.
We really are hitting our stride as a club - it's so sad that our ultimate future is being wrecked by those who don't give a stuff.

| Away shirt looks better in the shop than it does online, some nice detail to the front that doesn't really come across in the photos.
The tie in with the hospice is excellent and can only put us in a good light with the Wakefield public.

I bought some vegemite from the local cOles here in Nerang last week, it tastes nothing like marmite and I don't like it but love marmite, I had some cousins come to the UK in 1982 from Aus and they said they didn't like marmite but loved vegimite I've been looking for "Glad Wrap" too as they never shut up about it, not even seen it in the massive Woolworths in Surfers

Having grown up in Australia, all be it forty years ago I can tell you that Marmite is vastly superior to Vegemite though I like both.
Glad wrap made me laugh, if I remember correctly it's just an aussie name for cling film HTH

| I made the mistake of assuming vegemite would be the same as marmite after a couple of years of yearning. It tastes like what it is, an emergency war-time substitute for the real thing.
Ironically, Aussies probably don't know what the real thing tastes like as they only get NZ marmite, which is different. I now import my own supply from the UK.

| I think that is really nice. Although if you had shown me it without any badges or anything I would have said its a St Helens away shirt. Not sure why, it just looks like a Saints shirt to me.

| Seems it was the Clubs idea to make the Wakefield Hospice the main sponsor for the away shirt and give them the chance to get their name out there and TV. Again well done to the Club.

Good, that puts to bed the odd idea that some had that we were taking money off a charity. Great gesture in my opinion and well done club.

Obviously all those that thought we’d take money off a charity, will be straight back on full of apology

Yes... but it's "GLAD" wrap... how does that not make people happy???
Oh and just for balance... I don't like either Marmite... or Vegemite ... or the other Aussie favourite.. avocado !!! But I do like Tim Tams
