No...sorry, we never played some of the worst Rugby we've ever played under Kear, ever. We may have played dull, functional Rugby under Kear when he was stripped of his best, but the worst RL I have seen since the mid 80's is under Agar...when he's had relative luxury regarding resources. We are clueless and disarticulated pillocks under Agar. We look like strangers who dont know each other for most of the games he's been in charge. I wish we were rid.

Back to Kear
And RL players are geniuses who can translate stats into results???? Some maybe...very few. Agar is an advisor not a leader...end of story for me

They don't need to be geniuses, they just need to follow the game plan their coach has set for them and adapt accordingly. It's the only job they do, so it shouldn't be too much to ask of them.

Do you really think JK had the players to play expansive rugby? He had a bunch of SL rookies. At the time we needed a change 5 year cycles and all that. Pathetic Agar saying he cannot motivate the players its his job. Pathetic we cannot defend every week with 0 signs of improvement, pathetic he plays players who are a shambles every week and keeps them in the team. Team is a good side. Agar not cutting the mustard.

that makes sense team that kear inherited was awful, as was the team when we were going tits best coach we have had in the super league era by a mile , if the rumours about france are correct then he should resign now

I would rather we built our performances on nilling other teams, at moment we play like under 8s on a sunday morning

I'm not right into bashing previous teams especially the job that Kear did etc but can't agree with you here at all. I remember some absolutely awful performances under Kear, easily as bad as the last couple. Leaving that 2011 season to one side, in 2010 we were terrible at times and took some right hammerings.

Agreed 2010 was the worst for me. Only time i have happily missed games!

Not one for changing the coach mid season and as far as the league position goes, we are not far off where i would have expected us to be at the start of the season, but......

The manner of our defeats is what is causing me concern. The 2nd half at HKR was terrible, no fight, commitment and what looked like a total lack of interest. I was hoping for some kind of response on Saturday and got absolutely nothing. From minute 1 Cas just wanted it more. Again we didnt look that interested.
We have not improved defensively in the last 18 months. That is a serious worry. We do not work hard enough in defence. Too many people having too many breathers. Basic things like not moving up on the blind, missing too many 1 on 1's, communication, general stuff that should just be the norm. It needs sorting and after 18 month of trying i am not sure RA can do that.

Wigan are Wigan, we dont expect anything from that game (wouldnt it be like Wakey to do something?). The decider for me, could be the Salford game the week after. Lose that live on Sky and i think there would be an impact on the future attendance figures (actual people in the ground!). Which, lets be honest is the only way anyone is going to take notice.

Like most Im expecting a Geoff Boycott score against us by Wigan but cant see us getting anything from the Salford game to be honest. If we come away from Salford with nothing I fear the fans will stay well away against London.

Salford away will be a trip for the diehards.
We are expecting this game to be on the back of a 4 match losing streak AND its on Sky AND its on a Monday evening, in Manchester.

Anyone going ?

Quote: les-goose "Carry on like this and one things for sure they wont sell as many season tickets next year and all the hard work of getting the fans through the turnstiles will be lost.On to the end of next season and thats all the good work down the drain then a move to Newmarket and it wont make a jot those lost fans who will just think "same old rubbish different stadium".For all JK did a fantastic job of keeping the club up when he came and Im sure he would have this lot higher up the table I dont think hes the answer.I was willing to give Agar a chance but enough is enough as even last season you could see where the side was weak and nothing has changed appart from the fact the players now appear to be giving up the ghost. That performance on Saturday was a total shambles and the whole lot players and coaching staff need to take a long hard look around.'"

Exactly what I think

Quote: asmadasa "Think should stick with Agar till end of season then if we've gone backwards, get rid although it'll cost for the 3rd year of his contract and a drop in pre-season ticket sales if we don't turn it around and/or sack Agar.

Apart from Annakin I wouldn't renew any of this lots contracts or extend them. There are a few fringe players that have not progressed in last 12 months and think a career in the championship beckons for them. There are those in the first 20 who are not up to it week in week out whether its fitness or heart or both I'm not sure but there won't be a queue to sign them. We all know who they are that follow the team so they won't be named.

Can't look at shifting many of them now as need the bodies as squad is so small but there is a lack of passion from such a disjointed defensive and attacking display and think there may be trouble at mill between players and coaches as they clearly aren't taking on board instruction/ coaching if its happening? In spite of being incandescent at out pathetic display on Saturday and at the time, would have glady packed Agar's bags and driven him home for some gardening leave whilst we found a replacement. However, I think your plan is the right one. We are unlikely to find a good coach who rescues this year so we might as well wait fo Agar to get it together or give him enough rope to hang himself with..almost certainly the latter in my view. I'd keep Amor, Kirmond, Collis, Charlie, maybe Aiton, probably Tautai by the look...bin the rest, they're all unreliable to one extent or another, or getting past it, as well as Annakin.
