Thoroughly enjoyed tonights game. A real battle with plenty of effort from both sides. Hope all the injured players are soon back in action.
I even thought Ganson wasn't too bad.

There was a safety annoucement half way through the match for Hull KR hooligans throwing objects onto the pitch and its not needed. d040.gif

There was also a few confrontational drunken HKR idiots with foul mouths at the back of the FleetMaster Stand after the match looking for trouble who I chose to ignore. These low life minority need banning from our game indefinately by Hull KR and from Trinity if any of ours want to follow the same path. eusa_naughty.gif

You need to tell your stewards this, they are a bit over zealous at times. I was stood with my wife and two young grandkids next to the bunch of lads in fancy dress and in the main all these guys did was have a drink and a laugh, but the stewards seem to think this was a reason to surround them and continuously have a pop at them. The two lads in the horse suit were force ably ejected, even though they apologised for the pitch antic, which was over the top.

I know they have a job to do, but a little common sense might have been applied to prevent a backlash. To give these lads credit, not once did they rise to it and remained jovial throughout and even your own supporters were defending them and having photos taken with them, especially the guy dressed as Jimmy Saville.

I like a zero tolerance approach from our stewards. eusa_clap.gif I saw the blokes with the costumes and every other word I heard from them as they left the ground involved swearing and they were drunk icon_biggrin.gifRUNK: . If my young lads had come with me then I would have wanted them ejecting. Its not what I want my children to hear at a family game. a026.gif

Was stood next to them all the game and never saw one incident of what you described, one even offered a steward a chip and he just shoved him.

I think you're being a little naive to think that no bad language is used at a RL game icon_rolleyes.gif in an environment where differing opinions are always going to happen then it is always likely that expletives will be used to express ones opinion.

On the whole the KR fans seemed to be OK, although a good number of them were totally plastered, the walk back to my car through he cemetery saw a number of them struggling to walk and a couple falling flat on their faces, but this is no reason to ban them, I like a lot of people like to have a drink and have been known to fall over due to it's effects. As for the guys in the pantomime horse costume, I 100% agree in them getting ejected from the ground, however they did manage to get back in icon_wink.gif
TBH with 9200 fans I thought there was always going to be the chance of trouble but with the exception of a scuffle in the western terrace toilets I think it went pretty well, however I don't think I've ever seen as many police outside the ground following a game, maybe there was a bit over the top tactics.
Finally and on a repetitive note, the turnstiles were a fiasco once again and it seems the security didn't know what was the correct procedure, I walked with my 2 sons to the western terrace gates (as I usually do) and was confronted by a security guard (with the number 100 on his hi vis) who quite abruptly told me I couldn't enter the ground there as they were for away fans only, now my understanding is that Wakefield fans could enter the ground through any gate and were allowed to stand anywhere in the ground, I pointed this out to the security guard, but his reply was not only abrupt and dismissing but extremely rude, at the end of the day we are customers and the security guards should understand this, there are ways to speak to people in certain circumstances but this guy got it completely wrong, it is not surprising that people kick off when upstarts talk to them like they are something that has been scraped of the bottom of their shoe, I will be writing a formal letter of complaint regarding this to the club, also there were plenty of KR fans in the northstand which clearly shows this new segregation policy didn't work, luckily there was no problems with incidents in the northstand

Now back to topic, well done to the team was a lot better except for the last 10 mins of the first half, we let them score to easy trys through our poor tackling, and this gave Hull KR a lift, Justin Poore/Raleigh/Ali/Kirmo/Washy/Amor/Wilks/Mariano alot better display, and Tim Smith did ok for his first game back Ben Cockayne was out standing, infact the team as a whole was fantstick for 70 mins of the game.. a014.gif eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif

The Northstanders was loud n Proud, lets bring a friend with us next home game and fill the Fleetmaster a014.gif a014.gif k020.gif

And a big thank you to all our fans that was in our East/west terrace you was first class too, just need to be a bit louder.. icon_wink.gif

icon_rolleyes.gif Some get brought up others get dragged up. Its not excuse for yobbish behaviour and should never be accepted. Where I was stood for most of the game at the home end there was no such expletive language. You've obviously experienced a more socially inept environment in Hull.

The Police are there to re-assure the public, prevent drunken disorder and to ensure community safety for local residents. I'm sure had they not been there for those that live in close proximity to the ground then cars would have probably been damaged, there would have been urinating in gardens and possible fighting. Anyway board with this stuff. Wakefield deserved to win and played well. Well done! eusa_clap.gif

We're coming to make some noise!:

Had to watch the game from my armchair as had work last night icon_sad.gif

Obviously can't comment on the crowd but to see the attendance it is credit to the clubs back office staff who have come up with innitiatives to draw in the crowds. Obviously HKR's million away supporters helped icon_wink.gif

The game however went as I thought, very scrappy, lower SL standard. At the moment HKR would be lucky to beat a top Championship side. We have no defence and our pretty sizable pack are getting dominated in the ruck more often than not. Our backs were always onto a hiding to nothing but I thought Craig Hall certainly showed Agar that he was worth a lot more credit than he gave him at FC.

Ben Cockayne joked earlier in the week about the game not being played on a treadmill, and how right he is! While I don't think Caro did much wrong Ben proved that with enthusiasm and passion the game is much easier!

Best team clearly won, obviously the injury to Withers was a major factor but not the sole reason for the defeat. Hopefully both sides will be at full strength for the return fixture at our place and you too will bring a stand full of supporters to cheer on your boys.

Good luck in your season!
