Me too, he was gash! Made me feel sick seeing him in an England shirt. McNamara has made a mockery of the national side, Chase and Heighington should be no where near the side, the ginger however, at least he was born here!!

I said the same things when Mauri played. It's nothing to do with Cas. It's to do with the fact that England are playing a player who has played against them twice in the last year, and in June stated publicly that he his lifelong dream was to play for New Zealand, his country. Added to that is the fact that he isn't good enough. How can we contemplate playing a man against New Zealand who isn't good enough to get into the New Zealand squad.
Looking good in a mid-table side is different to being an international. The only blinkers are in Cas, who seem prepared to overlook national pride just to see "one of their own" doing well.

It's not about being a "polecat" you shallow dullard. It's about being British, not everything is a about your or our godforsaken little clubs.
If Chase applies for and gets full British citizenship then fine he can play as far as I'm concerned. However until he fully commits to being British he shouldn't play for Britain. I don't care if he has an English gran, there are only two criteria that should allow you the chance to gain an international journey - the above - or the rather old fashioned idea that you were actually born here - simple.

The whole idea behind it, thus alolowing him to dump on Cas from a great height and sign for one of the big 4.

I'd add parents into that mix but not grandparents. If I moved to Oz and had a bairn there they would be brought up British/English and they would be direct from British stock. Anything else just makes a mockery of international competition in any sport

I disagree. Chris Heighington was born in Australia, brought up in Australia, lives in Australia and speaks with an Australian accent. In my eyes he's Australian. If his parents are so important we should pick them instead. If players want to play for countries other than their own it should set alarm bells ringing with the coach. Even if the rules are shambolic, the coach doesn't have to pick them. Chase and Heighington are mercenaries who are not good enough to play for their own country and have no loyalty to ours.

Now your just being silly. Chase should not be anywhere near theteam but if Heighington has British parents i can't see any problem with him being in the squad.
