OK - my vitriol has died down a little. What annoyed me was the seeming enjoyment of the plight we are in. I do however accept that, as with the rest of us on here (minus the odd - and I mean that - Cas fan) want the club to be succesful on and off the pitch.

If you believe that I really accept everything the club do without question, then you have me all wrong - I don't and never have. I do probably give the people there a lot more credit for their efforts under difficult conditions, but that doesn't mean I don't question and, where appropriate, suggest things that can be done / improved upon. I don't always get through - but I try. What I don't do is come on here and broadcast those things.

Whether the BoD give a toss is up for debate at times, although I would say I get a much better hearing from them than I do from some of the senior staff - who clearly 'tolerate' me and many others, and take not a word of notice unless they want something.

What I would so dearly like to do, and this will be of no surprise to most of you, is to be in a position to deliver all those small things that we see that the club just don't. It won't happen any time soon, but I'm no-where near chucking in what I do just yet and I will retain the hope that either I, or someone else, will one day realise what it is that we crave - and how simple it would be to deliver!

But, the way I see it is that this is MY club, and I try and see past all the petty stuff and focus on the little bits that I can do - it's not much, but it's something!
