If we beat Catalans we will definitely play on the Saturday night but as for who we play it could be Hull KR, Huddersfield or even Saints.
If Leeds win we play Hull KR
If Hull KR Win we play the loser of Saints vs Huddersfield.
Whoever it is we will play on Saturday evening (unless the RFL/Superleague/SKY change their minds )

| Catalan won't roll over and their forwards will be massively up for it!
They have built their game around a dominant pack and they take pride in winning the battle up front.
As Phil Clarke said in France a couple of weeks back they hav'nt been able to get over the big pack that Trinity put out and therefore struggle to beat us.
I expect Catalan to come here with a huge point to prove in the forwards, led by one Oli Elima, and if we are'nt prepared for a battle royale to win ascendancy in the middle, we will get beat.
This won't be easy!

| playing clubs that you have recently beaten is always a tough one as they always have that extra motivation and desire to reverse the result.
that's why i would have preferred Cas at home as we had some unfinished business with them from our last performance.
will be really tough and we aren't that used to being the favourites

Thats the best bit, cuts 30 mins of the journey home!

You are spot on but our forwards will meet them and win the battle.

With so many afraid to come to East Hull and some of your fans obvious distain of watching the game from inferior viewing areas an allocation of around 2000 should be more than enough.
Anyone would have thought your ground is perfect ... after how long taking the Super League Bucks?
Funny ain't it but there was some of your throng saying thank-you for many of us signing your petition and yet many others slag us off.
Look forward to being very hospitable to your lot at Craven Park - if we haven't done the Rhinos first!

| Quote: Slugger McBatt "Barman in Perpignan last week told us that Warrington and Hull KR bring the most fans to France, but the Hull KR fans spend all weekend fighting. It's not just a KR thing though, because the Hull FC game used to have the biggest risk of trouble. Must be something to do with the city, because away fans seem to have problems at the FC ground too.'"
Strange, around 12 of my family were there and never witnessed any trouble at all. Just a lot of singing and having a good time.

| my concerns about playing HKR away are that people have bought tickets and then have not been allowed access into the area where they have bought the tickets for. I would b happy if they segregated us and just let wakey fans have the temporary stand.
there are also other issues regarding the over zealous stewarding etc, but they have been well discussed elsewhere on this forum.

That's a fair point, I'll concede that. Although Leeds is a big city, they don't travel away in the same numbers, and thinking about it, Hull is probably the biggest rugby league city in terms of numbers.
Quote: barham red "I agree that in our forst year in Sl we seemed to acquire a small minority who seemed to be looking for the trouble spots but since that point they seem to have dssappeared (seemingly coinsideing with City's promotion tho the PL).
'"
Good to hear that. And despite my views on the fine people of your city, if we don't get to Old Trafford, I hope you do, because you will fill your end at Old Trafford, it will hopefully mean that Cas or Hudds haven't got there, and it will be good to see a new name there.

My family stood in front a family from Hull their language and attitude was disgraceful we told them on numerous ocassions to take their effing and blinding back to Hull. As for cheering at injuries I dispaired
I would rather people like that not bother attending away games to be quite frank keep the money and low life in Hull. Justy my experience this weekend
