| Superb performance in the first half and thought Hall was excellent but, being hyper-critical, thought he bombed a couple of chances in the second half when the pass to Walmsley could have produced two more tries ??

I may have missed it but was Pratt injured or just rested for this game ? I must admit that Hall and LW are making a good partnership and it was obvious that most of the problems for Catalan came down our right.
Yes they are. Both are proving the doubters wrong. They are both SL quality. Walmsley shirks nothing and his tries were top drawer. Hall is proving to be a great prospect. Pratt is injured said so in hospitality before match .Agree about Hall ,slow start to season but is becoming a class centre .Just hope there is a way we can keep Warmsley begging to look the part.Mr Powell said that Smith had improved so much he had no worries about been starting hooker. One of the best first half of the season ,the ball movement was class .Second half Catalan just slowed the game down ,and the ref let them get away with it. The rook was a lot slower in the second half ,and we went though the forwards a lot more .But overall a very good performance

| Problems happening down the right has a little to do with Lino. The left needs Trueman.
Hall is getting better and better. The coaching staff here definitely suit him. He's only 22. Has a long way to go to reach his potential and he's already above average in SL.
I agree on Walmsley. I haven't always been an advocate for him, favouring the big metre gaining wingers, but he has worked on all areas and improved in every one. If we extend the overseas quota I would at least keep him another year.
His try, where he made the break, got tackled but got the ball away, then reacted quickly to get back into position to back up Hall and Rourke was outstanding. Those big wingers would have stayed on the ground.

| Mr Powell said Trueman is not playing against Hull ,Hopefully the more the spine that played yesterday get to play the together ,the more chance there is of getting the left side sorted out plus Pratt could be back .At present he is consistent with a good performance every match

| Jowitt needs to work on his kicking near the line because which at best yesterday was rubbish. I know he is a fullback but he has time to work on it and I am sure can be assisted by Trueman.

| I'm sure he is working on it but he's not exactly rubbish. We have scored tries off his kicks recently.

| Didn’t we score off one of Jowitts kicks. At best rubbish is a silly statement.
For a player who rarely ever kicks in play during sets he’s doing as well as can be expected. I’m sure as time goes on we will see more from him.
A couple weren’t great kicks but we managed to contain Catalans in the 10.
He will be back to full back for Huddersfield though when Trueman or Russell are back.

| quite frankly anyone who refers to anything the team did on Saturday as "rubbish" needs to give their head a wobble! That Catalans team contains some high calibre players, and we drove them into the ground, playing some fast and fluent rugby league.
Currently this team is poetry on steroids and there's still room for improvement...
I haven't stopped smiling since Ellis took control of the club...

Think you're wrong there.

| Forgot to mention, I took two mates to the game from Barnsley as new fans and they both thorougly enjoyed the day! Both couldn't believe the great atmosphere, ground, speed of the game and the tackles! There was a bit of wincing early doors, but they got used to it! Enjoyed it so much that they are coming again! Just shows what a great job Matt Ellis has done! Up the Trin!!!

Many times in the past we have offered cheap tickets often free, on many occasions the team didn't deliver, not a criticism as we were where we were. Saturday the event put on was brilliant, fan zone, fireworks an excellent atmosphere and to top it off in front of a great crowd the team delivered. Saturday will increase the fan base without doubt.
