Forgot about Sam Williams. Not a massive fan tbh but he's still decent and has more NRL experience than last time.

My only reservation is that he doesn't seem all that keen on living in the UK. I believe he was actually first choice before Lino but changed his mind for family reasons. Maybe that's been sorted.

Also agree re the excitement part, but unfortunately like i said we cant sign 10 superstars, needs to be a balance so inevitable fans won't be excited by all the signings

I think the games at prop for Lawrence have only been fill in emergency few and far between though and I’d certainly rather have a specialist prop.

Perhaps it’s an option for 13 to interchange with Crowther which I would probably be ok if not a bit underwhelmed.

I'm sure Lawrence is a good guy and can do a shift but from what I've seen he isn't the guy for us.

From what I hear on Shaul we are trying to put a package together that reflects the fact he is due a testimonial at Hull next year. I like him, but I wouldn't want to pay over the odds for him.

But the fact Hull want him off the wage bill should also be considered.

Yeah I mean we have Jowitt who is more than good enough at full back so we already have a first choice. Gaskell can cover in case of injury too. Compensating for a testimonial year won’t be easy tbh. Is he contracted to hull for 2023? If so they’d have to pay a %.

A lot will do if Tony Smith rates/wants him. His last coach certainly didn't.

Would be a good move for Hull in that imo he’s easily the best available. but whether Smith still has the drive required at tgat difficult club I don’t know.
