We’ve moved on from TJ whether we like it or not.

I see it that way myself and the team have more pressing concerns .
However if your theory is correct then he should go now and end the charade .His presence hanging around dosnt help the club or himself.
Then again he may well return and play a few games at the back end. However even TJ would not get us a win in the last two games.

Unless my aging memory is poor, the last game he played was 3 APRIL Salford at home. He won us that game in first half and then was 'rested'at HT as a precaution.
Then we heard he had a slight injury in training after being named in a match day squad.
Its now three months later and still I have not heard of definate explanation why he is still unfit. A slight injury looks like a season ending injury but no one is saying or seems to know what the actual injury is.

I had read somewhere that it required surgery that hadn't been 100% effective???

I know it was a groin issue that could have potentially kept him out some time. Looks like it’s done just that. Shame. Be good to get him back for a couple back end of season.

Tbh… as much as I have thrilled to watching Johnstone in a Trinity shirt… and I am grateful for that, the fact he is now moving on means:

1) I don’t care about his fitness or how well he is playing any more
2) he is just another player playing for another club.. a club who I don’t particularly care for… and would happily see lose every game they play.

When I hear people spout nonsense about Players who leave as being traitors, or let down by the club, or they will come back to haunt us or worst of the lot he was Wakefield through and through, and all the other cliches I wince.

I wish Tom all the best but Murphy and Kershaw are now my heroes on the wing. Unless he’s a playing against us or for GB I have no further interest in TJ the player.

There is something about all this that seems strange. Like posted previously on his interview nothing is said about his injury, when or if he will be fit to play. Thats the first thing he should have been asked surely !

If the club said to Catalan , take him now for no fee and pay his wage ,he's yours. If you can get him fit and get some games out of him, good luck to you. I would have no problems with this as I think it would benefit everyone , most of all Tom.
