If Milkys fit he plays, If Jowitts fit he plays, or in the centres if we have any injuries there. They are the only positions I would play Gaskell in. I`m sure he is able to cover other positions but not in the pack. The Wigan game was is first 1st team outing after injury and your wanting to put him against Westerman & co. We need our forwards firing to play Cas, not a back player out of position in the pack.

if we are to make top 6 (where we are now ) it will be by winning games against cas .

Certainly need to target the Cas game with such short turn around as I fear the Wigan game will non other than an away loss ,and looking at our youngsters scoreline against them it looks like they have a great crop coming through that Wigan system as well as the current first team. Having said that we have plenty of youngsters banging on the door of first team duties ,and those that having been given their chance have done themselves the power of good and not only competed at the higher level but also enhanced the first team’s performances

Willie did such a good job with getting players contacting previous players about what it was like to play for Wakefield Trinity.
Perhaps we could do with some of the same in terms of what the "Adam Watene" trophy should mean to this club. Isn't that usually at stake the first time we meet each season? Breaks my heart that they have had it for so long now - I want it back!!

After we beat Cas on thursday (have faith) wouldn't it feel good to rub a little salt in their wound after all our suffering at their hands over the last few years by playing "Sweet Caroline" at full blast over the tannoy !

Totally agree. Overall Chester did ok but one of the things that contributed to his demise at trinity was him putting square pegs in round holes. Gaskell has never been a forward and we have 3/4 loose options available who know that position. I can see why it maybe worth a look but there’s just no necessity for it atm.

I think the trophy is played for at the home fixture of the current holders, or at least it was, so not while the away game.
