| Back to the game and the bookies are currently giving us 8 points start so, hopefully a good close game (and the bookies being wrong)

Which puts the vulnerable catagory at risk if people are mixing knowing they have the virus.

I think that’s what they want. Every time the virus goes through the population it weekend it to a point where it’s not even as aggressive as the flu.
For me it’s the correct call, we simply couldn’t carry on in any kind of lockdown. This is the real world and thankfully those on charge have realised. It’s harsh as some will still suffer but I’m afraid the needs of the many will always outweigh the few.
The hope now is we don’t get a mutation in the wrong direction and if we do we are far better placed to deal with it.
It’s worth noting that much scientific opinion is coming to the opinion that lockdown was a failure and was unnecessary but obviously some disagree.
Doesn’t take long for Covid to raise its ugly head

| How will we know if it mutates we no longer check and the figures when declared make grim reading. What do you say to the families of the 100 + who currently die on a daily basis. We appear to go with the theory that ignorance is the way forward hence the reluctance to release the figures. I guess de Pfeffel wanted herd immunity at the start of the pandemic and he now has it.

Here we go again, you really do try and turn everything into your personal crusade against Boris.
Maybe the article below will answer your question over value of mass testing.
https://www.ucl.ac.uk/news/2022/feb/opi ... an-be-done
Its also seems to be commonly accepted across the world that mass testing is simply not sustainable.
Would mass testing and declaring any figures have prevented the 100 daily deaths ?
Im really not sure what/how you are linking stopping mass testing with what you say to people that have unfortunately passed.

| And you into your total subservience to de Pfeffel and all he stands for. If you believe you have it but take the view suggested by the government of de Pfeffel and carry on mixing and someone you visited dies of Covid what do you say to the family. I notice that many industries are struggling because employees are staying away with Covid, I guess you believe they should go back to work and forsake the consequences.
With regards the cup game it is one of those where if we play to our best we can win which we have done on several occasions over the years. I guess it all boils down to the team we can put out because the Radio suggested both Reece and Kaye appeared to be limping.

See youre still guessing.......
If you believe you have it : that doesn't prevent you from observing the basic hygiene principals or wearing a mask......??
With regards the game, personally i have a bad feeling about this one.
I don't think the Wigan defence will be as generous as Warrington/Salford and have the quality to hit you from deep.
I envisage we will have sustained early pressure but not put any points on the board,Wigan will hit us on the counter and frustration will set in.
Wakefield 6-22 Wigan

| Thinking about this game reminds of the CC game when Ray Price played for us. I seem to recall they took him out early doors but we gave them a game that day with a great crowd.

Yep .. 1990 … 32 years ago … lost 14-26… was my last game before getting on a plane for my first trip to Aus… I also remember a cup QF game at Wigan in 2004 which was a tight affair until the pies pulled away in the final few minutes lost 20-4
In my experience as a Trinity fan this is the third time we’ve played Wiggoon in a QF… third time lucky?!?!?
