Mate I’m sorry but I’m not getting involved if it’s going to turn into another thread about our losing run and so many wins in this etc. It’s been done to death and we know already what the state of play is.

I think Gale brings a lot more structure to Leeds than you give him credit for and fact is the only game they won was with him on the field.

Tomkins is the best full back in Superleague presently imo and he had a huge influence and hand in stretching our line for the try’s out wide.

I’m not blaming bad luck at all and you need not be so presumptous. It just seems opposition pivotal players return for games against wakey a lot. That’s just the way it is. I would be more concerned about our lack of options at 9, 6 and 1 for the upcoming games.

I would hope regardless who plays we can turn our fortunes around this coming 4 games. Because if we don’t we are In trouble. This is the most important part of the season for us coming up.

It`s funny you say Leeds aren`t a better side with Gale, I was listening to a podcast last night (The Full 80) they said on there Leeds haven't won a game that Gale wasn't playing in since he signed so that would suggest you are wrong.

You are getting your Tomkins mixed up because it was his brothers first game back not Sam.

Leeds will still be missing several players for the clash on Sky. It is clearly a game we can win, in fact it is a game we must win.

A few of these players are only squad players it’s worth noting that usually would t feature in the first team.

Eastmond and Gale are back.

Is Eastmond not a squad player? think there first choice full back is Jack walker (injured), Stand off Robert Lui (injured) their second choice half back Mclelland (injured) second choice full back Myler (suspended) Harry Newman first choice centre (injured), Zane tetevano first choice loose forward (suspended), Cameron Smith number 17 (injured) , Thereafter I agree that we are into squad players

At the moment it looks like of our first choice 17 we are probably lacking miller josh woods ashurst so whilst I accept that Leeds have a bigger squad than us you would say that they have more injuries than us by some margin

Currently the only team that they have beaten is us !

Our next four games are leeds hull kr huddersfield and leigh if we are serious about staying up we need at least 4 ideally 6 points in this period. Failure to achieve this leaves our only hope of staying up being beating leigh twice

You also missed TJ from our list and if your including Mclelland you can include Hampshire who is our back up half option. Also you can include Walker as our back up full back option.

Think it’s pretty even on the injury front. That said this game against Leeds is a very winnable fixture and this next 4 games I think anything less than 2 wins will be disastrous. I really hope we come up with the business. There has been steady improvements the last 2 games. The sooner that win comes the better.

As far as I m aware Johnston will be available for Leeds so no I didn’t forget him, I did point out that mclelsnd muller and east mind were second choice - and excluded them from the analysis - that’s why I submit bother mentioning players at our club that aren’t in the 1-17

Regardless it’s about evens on injury front. I hope you are right and TJ will be playing but unable to train for 4 weeks and being match ready is optimistic imho. I hope he does play though. Will be a big boost.

I’m hoping Alex Walker will be back too so we have a full back option. We’ll see soon enough when squads are announced.
