I'm afraid that's all it is unfortunately a pipe dream or wishful thinking call it what you wish, prior to the first lockdown can you tell me one club who has maintained their attendance never mind increased them in super league over these last two or three years, silly question really because I know you can't, there are plenty of excuses out there as to why this is so, being realistic the game is on it's knees and alas is struggling to keep up.

[uSo the point[/u you are really trying to make is the fact that they have had two goes in super league, does that mean they have reached the limit of chances they are allowed, or in your opinion they are not worthy of a place, or are there teams better qualified to be in before them, so which point are you trying to make?

I am sure the SL and RLF will announce some form of criteria for applicants to meet and they will then be considered on their merits should they submit an application and other endorsement or criticism has no value whatsoever

Surely you can't have said it just to remind us of a piece of Leigh's history which most fans will be aware of anyway or are you, in which case you would be just stating a fact and not making a point as I suggested, but on the other hand you might have an agenda with them which you don't seem to have with any of the other clubs that may be involved so despite your protestations it would appear that there maybe a motive behind your post, perhaps you'd like to share this with us.

My post was really tongue in cheek Wayne, and not about SL clubs, or their attendances.
My wish is that there was a more enhanced league one with perhaps the odd fixture against SL opposition to get more crowd interest in it.

Yes I know it was, your pushing against an open door here mate, I couldn't agree with you more unfortunately it's now all about attendances and revenues, there's very little money in the game and the greed generated by the top end clubs with Sky messing about with Thurs/Fri night games is there any wonder fans would sooner sit at home than travel over the pennines.
