Brough is still our best half back and needs a run out. No brainer for me for him to play this one. Max has done well but not looked like some world beating half that some are pretending he has done.

Max and Jordy both out with strains and not being risked. Brough and Faffita playing. Chris mentioned in his interview. We'll name a strong team and not take them likely. It'll be a good game hopefully!

The difference is that CC is on record as saying Broughy would have to fight for his place back and then the squad is announced and there is no sign of Jowitt but Brough back in the squad. I think it's reasonable to question why no Jowitt and as we're not mind readers a one liner would have explained it away - as has been the case many times in the past!

The point is that Max was playing and then wasn't. That is worth a comment.

The bottom line is that some people think our head coach doesn’t like Max. That’s despite him signing Max on a 3 year deal. He must be mental signing someone he doesn’t like.

Fair comment DC, and with no disrespect to Jordy or Connor, but Max has been THE key player in THE key role since Brough and Rocky got injured and with Chessie saying Brough would have to fight for his place back in the team because Max has been playing so well, then surely you can understand people's frustration when IT APPEARS as though Max has been dropped because Broughy is back. As has been stated above, when other players have been injured in the past, all it took was a one-liner on the press release to say that "X" picked up a knock last week/in training, so isn't in the squad, especially with the squad now being announced 48 hours before kick-off ???

Or alternatively tell the fans whats happening a little earlier, thus avoiding the agenda.

Relax. Most know that isn't true.

quite why the owner/chairman whatever he is feels the need to come on this forum making quite clearly sarcastic comments towards supporters that are actually committed to the club is beyond me. This is a fans forum he’s plenty of other mediums he can access to get his views across unlike us
