| Quote Prince Buster="Prince Buster"Yes I was at the Salford game and as I remember Shudds were playing London at same time. It was us or shudds for the drop that day.
Used to see Harbin knocking about Wakey long after he left the club , but not seen him for the last few years. If you saw him today and asked about our situation, he would probably say he didn't have a view, but his dad thinks we need a better coach.'"
I was at this game as well brilliant

London were well up the League and were expected to beat Shudds but London had a "mysterious" off day. Driving home I remember hearing David Hinchliffe on the Radio Leeds after match phone in virtually saying up yours to the "suits" running Super League. All back to the Benidorm Flats where Martin Pearson led the sing along.

"All back to Benidorm" would be a great title for a book on the rise and fall (and rise again) of Wakefield Trinity

| I think we'll do okay defending. It's whether we've got the panache in attack. We haven't scored much recently, although I don't think HKR will be as hard to break down as Saints or Hull. The issue is whether Chris Chester tries something different, and which different he tries, or whether he persists in pursuing the formula that clearly doesn't work. He's said some individuals are out of form. Will he play them once again? Will he have no choice but to play them?
I'm not expecting a win and I'm currently focusing more on the London results than our own. Thankfully, points difference will allow us to survive provided we are still two points ahead of London on the last day, but I'm more worried about the effect on Hull KR if they win, because they could go into their London game with nothing to play for.
Although not fully fatal if we lose, I think we'll be okay if we win and London lose in France, particularly as Rovers and London will take points off each other the week before the last game.

| Pop Tart is spot on by saying everyone has a downer on the team because of the dreadful run and can never see any positives. On Sunday v Hull who are third in the table they scored 5 tries, 1 was a rebound off the post, 1 an interception and another a long range try from a Wakefield lost ball. They didn't break our line at will to score their tries and regards to comments that we run out of steam after 40 - 50 minutes, Wakefield won the second half 10 points to Six, although some would see it as Hull eased up.

| Just watched the highlights from when we last played KR at their place.
Our attacking structure looks clinical, we are moving the ball at pace and it was our first game of the season!

| Quote PopTart="PopTart"I don't see the point of your post. You are just saying something WILL happen when you obviously don't know that. If it's so nailed on what's the point?
Personally I have seen improvement especially in defense. We held our line a number of times and 3rd placed Hull only beat us because we threw them two interceptions.
We may not win but the difference between winning and losing is a small margin now. If we can get it right we can win.
So many of the fans who complain about the teams effort are way more defeatest than they are.'"
When did we hold our line a number of times then?!! Once we held up Connor, then they scored a couple of plays later when Sneyd waltzed through. They forced no GLDO's, they knocked on SEVEN times in the first half, FIVE times in the first 20! They made TWELVE handling errors in total or near enough, they were very poor and were there for the taking, but again we couldn't capitalise. Unless there is SIGNIFICANT improvement in all areas, we WON'T be winning at HKR.

Well unless they knocked on on the first tackle each time I'd say we held our line.
Many if not most of the dropped balls were in the tackle.
You see what you want to see I guess.

| Bet Drinkwater and McGuire are having sleepless nights worrying about how on earth they are going to break down our well coached, well drilled, determined, aggressive defense

Will they be given all the time in the world to kick for 40-20s, grabbers to ricochet off the post or run and take the line on?????
Time to close them down

| Well, at least the bookies think that it will be close.
We are getting 2 points start on the coupon and I do think that Sunday will be a tight, nervy encounter.
Trinity definitely have the forwards that can do the job and some backs capable of finishing any chances.
Where we are lacking is in the halves and their old man (Maguire) is in better form than ours.
Even though East Hull is always bleak, in terms of weather, a really heavy downpour, before and during the game would help us no end
I'm already nervous about this on and its still 3 days away.
