| Ruddy Duck was OK on match nights last time I tried it. Only 5 minutes walk from ground.

I reckon this'll be about right. Or possibly start with Arona and Crowther on the bench. Warrington squad looks very strong, so we will need to be bang on our game to get anything from this one, especially our kicking options.
Thaler is Ref, so we need someone to tape up Broughys mouth before the game otherwise he will be in the bin again.

| Win or lose Wire fans look forward to chatting with our friends at Trin. My favourite away fixure.
Never seen a cross word between our fans.
Trin are my second team too because of the welcome I've always had.

Weatherspoons exists in Wakey plus plenty of nice city centre restaurants.

| Quote Old Man John="Old Man John"Hi all, Wire fan here and I come in peace. Looking forward to the game on Thursday night and I'm coming across on the train via Leeds. I've been told to catch the train from Leeds to Sandal and Agbrigg and the ground is a short walk from the train station.
What I want to know is, are there any places to eat between Sandal and Agbrigg train station and the stadium, or would I be better off eating at Leeds train station? As I'm on the train, I don't want to walk miles into the centre of Wakefield. Looking for the staple RL diet of a pie, fish and chips, pizza or all 3 if I'm really hungry. Ha ha ha.
Cheers in advance.
John.'"
Welcome, don't be put of by the Wakefield doom mongers. There's loads of great bars within three hundred yds of Westgate station. Plus the there's quite a few good quality restaurants in the city centre. Enjoy the game but not too much of course.

Hi John,
As others have said theres loads of places to eat in Wakey - not so much near Sandal and Agbrigg (although there is a decent Aagrah on Barnsley road - 7 or 8 minute walk.
Depending on what time you get here I'd suggest you get off at Westgate and catch the (free) city bus round to the Hepworth. Theres decent pub grub (Ruddy Duck) over the road and its about a 10 minute walk to Bell..I mean Rapid Solicitors Stadium.
You could catch the train back from S&A.

I'd say this is the best advice so far.. Nice places in Leeds of course but assuming you want to be closer, Westgate and then over to Hepworth better.
The walk from Agbrigg is not unsafe but it doesn't look as welcoming if you haven't been there before.

If you are the cultured and sophisticated type come early, spend an hour or so looking round the Hepworth (well worth your time - they have some Henry Moore sketches done during the war of working life as a miner that are absolutely outstanding - amongst many other world class art-works) AND they have a superb cafe.
