The wire forum says it’s not Miller but someone in the same area so that could mean Cas as much as Wakey. It also says it’s a fans favourite so current club keeping a lid on it. Most of our top players are already signed up so I would be surprised if we would agree to any swaps, especially of a fans favourite

All this hearsay and speculation is like pre season all over again, and long may it continue .
Forums like this are made for this kind off gossip and banter and it’s good to get involved in it.
Everyone has their own opinions as to team selection and new recruits plus its takes your mind off that last performance.

However it could all be a load of crap and I don't usually get involved in such speculation.


However just for this once, if you check what he says he rules out Miller. He also confirms its for next season
and he doesn't differentiate between Cas and us as the club involved. They seem to be after an half so to me that rules us out totally.

However if you read other parts of the thread there are clues to who it could possibly be if they are looking at Wakey players
There are two players that spring to mind and if it were either I would be totally gutted.

Try telling that to our chairman when he's trying to sell season tickets! And someone pops up on here saying were selling our best players! That realy would help sales.

They've just signed Blake Austin so most likely Tupou and Fifita.

I am with PT on this and certainly wouldn't be interested if there was a swap deal regarding this, I did say in my original comment that it could be hearsay. I'm sure there is local newspapers in Warrington that comment on rugby and transfer news, so I'm sure Warrington fans are more in the know regarding their club than what we are.

Even it was the truth, and if they were the players on mind, they are contracted to us, and would demand a fee, and would imagine a healthy one at that.

Also if it's a swap deal, and wasn't mentioned in the rugby press, is that not lazy journalism

I think MC has proved and given us every confidence in the last few seasons that we are no longer a selling club for the sake of selling. He has gone on record stating we have turned down big money for Kirmond and Johnstone and we have knocked back Wires approach for Miller - I have every confidence that MC has the best interest for the club at heart and trust him to make the right decisions!

I’d workout what Wires quota spots look like after one of the comments I’ve seen on there.

Another comment I’ve seen is “Fifita for King seems like a fair swap to me” I think the same poster also admitted to taking drugs just minutes before his comment. Lol

If we lose one player this season it will be Arona, Fifita and Tupou will stay I think.

then again we don't know what the position the club is in and how best to benefit from a sale of a player if any, what we have here, its given the club stability by not selling our best players, had this season given better results on the closer games then maybe we wouldn't be talking about in comings and outgoings
