I had heard about Ryan Hampshire on a rugby league facebook page, that also has a website.
Read into it what you will, but this was the same site that mentioned us being linked to David Fifita, Sam Williams and Tyler Randall, a long time before it was common knowledge.
Maybe they are only valid rumours when they come from certain people on here who know everything about everything

Horo turned down Saints to sign with us.
Pauli Pauli has a hit list of 3 players (one of whom almost signed for us, but changed their mind). Intrigued to work out which Wigan player we nearly signed, who PP would know about, in order to be on his hit list?? Suggests high profile.
Club has committed to running a reserve grade next year - only 5 others have done so.
Chester was quite brutal about another club - until MC told him that it was being filmed for Trinity TV.

Lol yeah, now I remember!
He was very forthright in what he thought of a certain club's recruitment and about the individuals signed...
The club's CEO has been signing players that the coach had not asked for...that club now have a worse squad than last year - and Chester was gonna spill the beans!

I must applaud the club in running a reserve grade, all super league clubs should do the same.
I believe many would agree that it was just a money saving idea by SL to stop them in the first place.
I have never agreed with central contracts like the one given to Cunningham for example. It just produces an unfair advantage to the clubs who if they can afford these players should not receive a subsidy from the rest of RL
