It's a no for me for Sam Hopkins...think we already have better.

I hope that Trinity sign Pauli Pauli who can play second row or prop and hopefully with his size at 6 foot 4 and 19 stone would be a great impact player off the bench adding even more grunt to the pack for next season.

But with the likes of Miller, Wood, Randell, Grix, Jowitt + hopefully a young intern from the academy like Ackroyd all quick enough to exploit any gaps down the middle, why do we need to rely on Finn having pace? Until we can either: A) buy a world class halfback (not likely) or B) train up and rely on a young local half (much more likely) then Finn is the man for me. I'd like to think he'll start to move towards more of a coaching role over this season too

Finn has always been like that so what - do you think if Finn was blessed with pace he would have speant most of his career in the Championship.

Be happy we have such a smart player who makes other players look better than they are.

In what way was Williams faster than Finn? If he was he didn't show it. Tim Smith was possibly even slower than Fin yet nobody obsessed o that - it's a red herring peddled by Barry mac because he's got nothing better to say,

What makes me smile is Eastern says Finny is too slow, but is quite happy for us to sign Jamie Ellis from Hull KR.

Eastern seems happpy for us to sign anyone judging by all the names he has put on here

In the 6 or so years I have been a member I wouldnt say I have mentioned transfer rumours any more than the next person to be honest.

At the end of the day this is a forum where people are allowed to give their opinion, without been abusive, maybe only some opunions count as being valid.

The constant bickering between fellow supporters, some more particular than others, has become quite tiresome.

I have merely mentioned a replacement for Sam Williams who has gone home. Finny will need replacing at some point, as at 34 he cant go on forever.

It is great that we have 2 up and coming halves, but a lot seem to be building their hopes on them which to me is a risk, given they havent yet played a game for us at this level.

Yes, I heard the prop mentioned but I am not alone. We started the 2017 season with 6 recognised props. We now only have 4.

It is hardly wanting every single player is it, it is merely replacing the departured players.
