Is that the point he cost us against Cas when the ref incorrectly penalised him for a high tackle which wasn't a high tackle? - I'd blame the ref for that, not the player.

You have just witnessed one of our greatest seasons in a long time. We have played with a style seldom seen at Wakefield, when can you remember us having so much pace.
I think if we are being honest we have only had three poor performances Leeds away, Salford in the cup and St Helens.
I suppose the success magnifies the losses because I don't remember when going into a game against StHelens you turned up expecting to win.
Celebrate the season and enjoy the games to come because we are Wakefield and who knows what is around the corner.

Hopefully Saints performance tonight will put our performance against them into perspective for some people?

I doubt it, I lost count of how many times Eddie said Saints beat us

all it does is puts us down to 6th

He takes predictable to a whole new level.

Back to Saints.
They looked very clinical against us and deserved their win.
We have our chance to respond at Huddersfield and it will be a huge ask.

Looking forward to the game though.

Saints are playing real high quality finals style rugby and must have a great chance of making the play offs.

Puts our loss into perspective and hopefully we will learn the lessons from the game against saints - we won't be playing the likes of Widnes every week so we need to play with discipline and intensity every week from now on.

Lovely stuff from Saints that - if they could have held on to the ball a bit better, they'd have blown out the scoreboard; Cas' left edge trick has finally been cracked!

Certainly puts our result against saints into perspective. We created more chances against them as well but couldn't hold onto them.
