Williams wasn't a 1st team regular in last season at raiders. He came in when half got injured and played in feeder team which won the final that year.

Saying all this about Williams. It is true he was a reserve but he was a top reserve and looked good when given the chance. The Aussie commentators spoke well of him when he played.
