e spine of 1, 6, 7, 9, 13 is at full strength I'd say. The only first choice players we're missing are Johnstone, who while being excellent is hardly in a vital position, Ashurst who plays in a position we've got pretty good cover in and then a couple of props in England and Simon. Personally I would rather England be playing but I'm pretty ambivalent towards Simon, find him to be a massive liability at times with his poor discipline and therefore don't really see much difference between him and Anderson. So while we've got a few injuries it's certainly far from a crisis and definitely can't be used as an excuse should we lose. But I don't think we're gonna need any excuses because based on nothing other than a gut feeling I fancy us to win.'"

No smoke without fire I presume, if it is true I would still expect him to play if at all possible. Maybe stay home one more night and recover that little bit more? I would be suprised if he didn't play tomorrow

Surely I can presume what I want? If it turns out my presumption is wrong then fair does. And in this case is be glad of it. It just seems strange for a rumour to start without any foundations. An exaggeration or a case of miscommunication seems more likely |
