Unfortunately we are one of the clubs that don't influence like others do

A few of the prominent points from last night that I picked up on.

The squad is just about complete, although we are still looking for an outside back, just nobody available at present.

We used some of the £300k SKY signing on fee that all clubs got to repay some of the debts to the RFL, so got less than other clubs but are on target to have all debt cleared by the end of the season.

Kath Hetherington has been instrumental in us being able to put together the squad we have. She is approaching the end of the 6 month period that she initially agreed to work with us for, but MC said she still seems to be enjoying it, is first into work and they're happy for her to continue as long as she is.

Players are confident that the top 8 is achievable. Agar and Anderson and Scruton all feel the team has some improvements still in them and that we will probably be into the summer months before we reach our full potential.

Snowie and his team got a huge and well deserved round of applause for the work they have done getting the ground improvements done - they also asked for help this weekend, general dogsbody work that anyone could do, no skills required. But we apparently also need a joiner so if you are one or know one and could offer some assistance then PM Snowie on here or contact the club.
