Very poor from us and I personally thought we were better than this tbh and the team would be fired up fpr the challange.

May have been an idea to have left Sammut out this week. Another week under his belt with his new mates and started next week. It must have been very strange for him tbh,

Reminded me a bit of the 2011 game with Tim Smith etc, we were awful.

I thought the conditions dictated the play to be honest. When the pitches firm up I can see wakey improving, I can't say the same for the bulls though.

Poor game, poor crowd, drab atmosphere. How to knock the enthusiasm out of a new season. I fear as a club we've fallen to the the early 2000 levels only without the fight for a relegation battle. Agar has a lot of work to do.

MC said he would be honest and I think that was the first honest crowd figure in two years.

We always seem to get up for the big teams and often come up just short but when we play our peers as tonight we never seem to be able to grab a game by the scruff of the neck. For me this is about mind set we played some great stuff in the second 40 at Salford and having lost there was plenty of back slapping tonigt Bradford ground out a result when in theory they had no right to do so, they wanted it more than us and got it.

I can't think of a single positive from that game. Even the pitch was awful. Sick of us blowing 4-pointers.

The only thing I can think of is that if we had won, the Bulls wouldn't have been docked anymore than 2 points, as the RFL wouldn't have cast them 6 points adrift. Now, they can look transparent and dock them 4 and the Bulls will still be fine.

You cannot play good rugby on a pitch like that.

I think Bradford were just that little bit more desperate for the win tonight. The skill levels were low from both sides, not helped by a bit of a heavy looking pitch.

Tough season ahead for both clubs on that showing, see you in June for the rematch!

Need to sort catering and bar out too. Benefit of the doubt as its the first match.

Also hope the dozen people enjoyed the private bar. Asking fo 8 quid entry fee is embarrassing.
