| Quote RealSteel89="RealSteel89"Unfortunately I did buy a season ticket because I could have made 3.30 KO. I work sundays and dont finish till half 2 and have to travel from Leeds. If id have known this I wouldnt have bought a season ticket. So I dont really know where that leaves me know? 200 quid I could have spent going to away games that know I dont have. You can call me negative but the club shouldnt really do this without prior notice to the fans.'"
That's not being negative. That is a valid reason to question the move.
Others don't have the reasoning that you have
I'd call the club if I were you and see what they can do

| I'm ceratinly in the not bothered group and I get the point about that no being the same as positive.
I'd like to know the reasoning behind it as I assume they see a positive from their side.
If they did it for the fans then yes they would have been better asking, but if they did it for other reasons then they is the positive group.
Could be easier for catering as I did think it was a bit late to sit down for dinner and at the times they had, and you still hung around for a bit
Could be a request from other clubs
Could even by saving ink as 3pm is less than 3.30pm.....it all counts.

Lighting is probably a big factor. I guess the flood lights will be on for half an hour less.

| Quote TURFEDOUT="TURFEDOUT"I disagree, most seem not bothered either way, which is different from positive. There are three groups here, the not bothered,in favour and not in favour.
How do you come to the conclusion we are falling in line with every other super league club by kicking off at 3pm?
Cas - 3.30pm Sunday
London 3.00pm Saturday
Catalans 6.00pm Saturday
Leeds/Hull/Wigan - 8pm Friday
The club should have considered the opinions of the in favour and not in favour.'"
My conclusion was that only one club in SL now kicks off at 3:30 pm on a Sunday, so by my reckoning we are falling into line, i take your point though.
On the subject as a wholemost people buy their STs without having a scooby doo how many Sunday, Monday, Friday or Saturday fixtures we are going to be dished out with on fixture day and thats before fixtures get messed around with by Sky, SL and the weather.
Its pretty much the nature of the game these days.

That is ceratinly an accountants decision if it is.
They must be quite a cost to be honest........not even including replacing the bulbs that have blown.
But equally, there are only a couple of home games at 3.00 before the Sunday afternoons are light again so still not sure on reasoning

Not at all. I'd be up for Saturday afternoon kick-offs during the football off-season.

1600 season ticket holders would say not, still that's the price you pay for picking up the phone when MC asked you to.

| 3pm would be better for me as I would fit in better with my train times, seems swings and roundabouts, some unfortunately will loose out some will gain, most on here seem to be better/not bothered

| Other than the odd individual who can't make this time for various reasons - it's basically irrelevant. For everyone who can't make it because of work will possibly have somebody to balance it who can now make it - but to be fair those who have bought season tickets on the strength of it being a 3:30pm KO and can no longer make it should be entitled to some comeback from the club. Can't see this being a great many people though to be honest.
Was it 3:30pm at us and Cas because of the change over in shifts down't pit?

I havent seen one comment as yet that says "great i can attend more games" with a 3pm kick off,but we are seeing comments from people that can attend less games because of a 3pm kick off.
I bought my ticket based on roughly half the games would be played on a Sunday at 3.30pm,not 3pm.
Its much easier to retain an existing customer than it is to go out and find a new one, with this in mind for every customer Wakefield lose due to changing to 3pm - i dont believe they will replace them.
The club should have at least attempted to gauge an opinion, they havent,i feel let down. The least a supporter should have expected was to be aware of the facts and anticipated kick off times before they invested in a season ticket.

| When I purchased my season ticket it didn't say every home game would be Sunday at 3:30. Imaging if we had done what Leeds and a lot of other clubs have done and moved from Sunday afternoon to Fri nights ( which I think we should do) some on here would be having an heart attack with excitement of a good moan. 3pm Sun kick off let's get on board.
