Superb victory last night and in some senses I feel a shame in that we didn't execute our chances better in the first half. To score 50 past Leeds and current World Club Champions would have been something else. Maybe the electronic scoreboard prediction of Wakefield 60 Leeds 20 was telling us something?
I also wonder if the fact that we didn't fold and came back stronger against Huddersfield in the 2nd half last week helped maintain belief in the squad which saw us through when it was 18-14 last night.
I agree with many on here that Raleigh was man of the match. Can't begrudge Sykes but I often think half backs/acting halves tend to grab the limelight with the media and often the hard work elsewhee is not recognised.
Ryan Hall is arguably the best winger in the world and he showed that again. The frailty of us under the high ball on the wings was really brought to everyones attention last night on national tv. If Millward has anything about him he will use this tactic on Sunday and we have to be ready.
Well done WTW, great result. One of the best performances from our team I've seen in a long time. I look forward to watching it again on the Sky box. - I've already marked it as "keep"
