What could he say? The applications were submitted, by the clubs to the RFL, in confidence. He can only give the result. Anything else must come from the individual clubs.

What I got from the whole programme was that they were asking questions that they never asked before, particularly about Crusaders and even about us, but then they tried sticking up for Halifax and contradicted some of the things they had previously said.

I am amazed at how many people think Stevo is thick ! Stevo is a complete and utter kernob, but he is worth about 4mil stirling on business dealings down under and over here, not including his sky dosh, I wish I was that thick !

Nobody is taking it out on Stevo, the majority are clearly stating what an idiot the man is.

These promises you talk of what were they exactly? When and where are they stated? Are they real or media perceived?

Why is everybody saying we are the lucky ones?

Why are we any luckier than say Harlequins or any of the other Grade C clubs? Are you privy to our or any other of the 'C' clubs applications, lets not forget a week or so before the announcement the RFL were saying what our community set up was second to none, in fact if memory serves they went as far to say that is what clubs should be using as best practice. A good point that has been missed by everybody including the Halifax chairman.

As for Halifax they have had their own share of financial problems, the last time they graced super league they spent more than they were allowed and as a consequence history shows them as the only club to be relegated with 'ZERO' points. They have been in administration twice that I can recall. They may have a nicer stadium but how long was between leaving Thrum Hall and The Shay being completely finished?

Flaws can probably found in every grade c licence club's application. The reason people such as you and the other misinformed muppets are pointing fingers at us is because the media said so. You have no factual basis for anything you are saying. The only reason people are jumping on this band wagon is because Crusaders withdrew their application. If they hadn't and we had been given a licence ahead them the majority of RL fans would have been congratulating us and banging on about how they knew RL in Wales would fail.

How many of you who are quick to jump on the 'Lucky Wakefield' band wagon were feeling sorry for Widnes 3 yrs ago, I bet it wasn't many.

Maybe we are lucky or maybe just maybe somebody else is lucky and we are taking the flak because we are perceived as the easy target.

How many of those business dealings do you think he runs himself. Jade Goody was thick as two short planks but had businesses worth a fortune. Having profitable businesses doesn't automatically mean a person isn't thick in some aspects.

The man is a former international and should not be making idiotic comments. If he is such an astute businessman he should know why the RFL cannot disclose the details of 'Confidential' applications.
