Strange thing is that came to me from same place as expansion of number of teams story, that one not being true killed a few rumours to be honest.

Not if you could keep the number of those in the know down to say... Er... Two or maybe three.

Depends how deep his pockets are and how often he's willing to invest the money required.

Maybe he's only wealthy enough to sustain a Championship club.

Do people realise how much SL club chairman put into the clubs to reach a higher level because it seems to me that people think AG is loaded and thats not the case.

He's not going to throw away the hard earned and i don't blame him and i think hes made it clear the club will have to support its self and again thats fair enough.

So if thats the case and i don't doubt you, do you think he wants to spend the £500K plus on temproary ground imrovements at Belle Vue. Or just sit it out in Championship for a season or two pending newmarket.

Don't think he would do that. Loss of revenue in SL with no guarantee of getting back in.

Could somebody have been promised naming rights on the Newmarket Stadium in return for £500k upfront to tart Belle Vue up until Newmarket is ready.
