I'd love to agree with you because Rooney is British. But IMHO and it's just what I think is that BJ is the superior player to Rooney in almost every aspect of the game. If people think BJ is inconsistent and frustrated by him then Jamie must have driven them crackers. The biggest difference was that at least when BJ set his mind to it he could be decisive - Rooney on the other hand rarely backed himself and scored most of his tries as the supporting player and scored less individual tries than BJ. I don't think either of them were especially creative but I'd probably give BJ the nod.

No great loss if he does go IMO. I honestly believe that if we are happy to let him go then we have someone lined up to replace him who in the opinion of Kear and the staff is better than BJ. I also think that BJ wouldn't currently get in our team with Lee and Hyde both ahead of him and also we have Wildie who has shown up well in the games he has played at Hooker but many believe is a better half back.

He only signed a new 3 year deal a couple of months a go.
