I have to agree, the "crowd" looked very sp, this must be a concern to the club.. We can not keep bumping the crowd up like tis. We wouldn't need to to if people got off their backsides and tried watching a game live.

Couple of people with opinions I respect, but one question, how do you know these stats? BV looked very empty and I thought that it was a sub 4k crowd so I was very surprised with the figure given.

3500 tops. We don't deserve a license, our support is shocking. People just don't seem interested, I don't think we'd fill the ground even if we had Maggie Thatcher lining up at prop for us! Our new regime is doing great but the public aren't backing them, perhaps we do need to market the club more but with work needing to be done on the ground and internally they probably don't have enough hours in the day to everything they need to do. I don't have time to do it but perhaps the cvlub could do with some voluntary help in marketing the games, merchandise etc

We need a new stadium simple we need Newmarket Asap does anybody know what happened or if we had a meeting with the council last Monday? As for last nights attendance yes for a city our size we should be getting better crowds but let's face facts we played poor our first home match everybody was expecting a humiliation the weather was bad and wire didn't bring many what was everybody expecting? Look at cas top of the league 100% record and only got 4800. If we had a competitive side and played in a decent stadium we would have better crowds than half of super league so let's get our new stadium sorted out asap

Will a new stadium really increase our crowds so much? Will they increase Salfords attendances? The main thing for me that will attract support is the produvt on the pitch. Whats Sheffield Eagles average since they were born? Always had comfortable surroundings but never had the support. Winning is the key, all of us on here (or the majority) will go regardless, but, its going to be a had job building up a new band of loyal supporters to add to the likes of us
