We have Newtons money we have got rid of brough we may aswell not have signed johnson and king and we should have offloaded Bibb. With all this said there would be no reason why we can't sign Lee Smith anyway. Even without having to have signed Paul Johnson and King.Smith would be a great signing he has family in Leeds so playing for a club so close would be ideal for him. Time Ted coughed up a little.

I think JK has to take much of the credit. Given the financial constraints and adversity the club has faced what he has done a Wakey is nothing short of miraculous.

Regarding taxman quote. We did what we have done every year with this bill. We paid it with money from we get from sky. Only this year it was even late so put us behind hence circulating rumours about us. We are 500k below our actual salary cap allowance. We simply don't have the money to spend. Most other teams either have a rich chairman or a backer pumping money into the club or both in some cases. Personally with what funds we have all the back room staff deserve medals with what they achieve.

Whatever or how much we have received/saved why spend it on inferior products because at present that's the choice with what's available.

Half of the comments on hear remind me of the wife with money it burns a hole in her pocket and has got to spend it on anything as long as it's spent.

Like Lee Smith but if he goes anywhere it will be back to Leeds we have not got a hope in hell of signing a player like Smith. The Johnson King signings were always a gamble cant see King getting into the team this season
