I feel sorry for the fans, and the club to be honest but this could actually affect the playoffs.
Cas play them at home last match of the season and are struggling for playoffs because of points difference. Now playing an easier side they could turn that around completely

Makes no difference whether they've been shopped or not - if they've employed people to work for them who are not legally entitled to do so, then they're in the wrong, end of. I wonder to what extent the RFL also have to shoulder the blame here?

All in all, a very ugly, messy situation, and a distraction to the end of the season that the sport could really do without.

As long as Celtic Crusaders can put a team of players on the field who are legally entitled to play for them, the RFL will most certainly not do it. Apart from the detriment to the image to the sport, which is bad enough as it is because of this, it would be a major headache to sort out. Plus, you'd have to assume that the clubs still to play the Crusaders at home will want some compensation for loss of revenue as well.

Sadly, ATEOTD it's the fans who really suffer, and the Crusaders fans have had a fair bit to stomach this season already.

Quite agree with you, but why as it come to this now, seem to remember they were delayed getting into the country at the start of the season, as was Meli at saints, did they not get clearance then ????
