I think his natural tendency to play football has been a little bit stifled and as a result we haven't seen the best of him and he hasn't shown just how much he has to offer over and above the average second row prospect.
Maybe he sees a move to Leeds as a chance to play his more natural game and maybe he himself is a little disappointed at not being able to develop his handling ability whilst with Wakefield. I remember him trying to offload inside our own half last season and he cost us possession when we desperately needed to relieve some pressure on our defence. Maybe that sort of incident has led to his offload game being curtailed.
On the other side of the coin if we do get Broughton plus cash in exchange I would be extremely excited about the prospect of seeing him in partnership with Ryan Atkins.

Agree with the rest of the post, but as good as Atkins is in other ways, the only relationship I see him having is one of frustration from the winger's point of view. He's hardly the king of service out wide. |

Broughton looked out of his depth tonight against the Whinos.
He offered Yeaman very little in support play,ran bad angles and was suspect in defence.
Not impressed on this outing reminded me of Bucannan. Too lightweight.

Agreed tonight he was poor but could it be a "one off" "bad day at the office" ive seen him play well would probably have to hear more off the fc fans or see him on more occasions |
