| That is a massive scalp, beating the Bulls and Wigan in consecutive weeks is a great achievement.
Does anyone have the team lineups ?

| Funny int it but at the start of the season there was a real worry about our youth set up. We hadn't spent much cash and had basically signed who we could.
Yet that is the beauty of under 19's - it's so unpredictable. A kid who looks great at 16 and signs for big money can often fade away within 18 month and never be heard of. Whilst another team filler can suddenly get a growth spurt or mature mentally quicker than expected and bingo.
It would seem we have been lucky at Trin in that the one we were as certain as you can be for this age group would make it will make it. Lso the ones like Anekin and Cowling who we had hopes for are on track. Best of all it would appear some of the players we didn't expect much from are doing somewhat better than expected.
Cas and Leeds spend big money but it's no guarantee. I suspwct we go on a wing and a prayer which normally pops up a player a season. Maybe we are due another team of the 2000 vintage. Yhis time though I hope we can afford to keep them all.
FYI That team from memory included - Brough, Feather, Mason, Westwood and Ellis to name a few.

| That squad also included Nathan Batty,Paul Handforth, Tommy Haughey, Matt Blaymire, Joe Helme, Steve Snitch, Mitchell Stringer, Mattie Wray, Mark Barlow, Carl Hughes, Rob Sharp - all of whom I think went on to play (semi) professional rl.
For me it ranks with the squad brought through by Trevor Bailey containing Gary Spencer, Billy Conway and the like.
Both squads had a 'mentor' in Bailey/Harbin.

Statisticaly still the best u19 team ever!
Won the league by a record margin and the challenge cup lost in the play off final due to 1st team calls and injuries.
It was one game too many and we lost to a team we had beaten easily three times that season.

| Quote: snowie "I can't believe how good that game was, value for money, the first half there was nothing between them at 12-6 half time the second half was amazing, think the reason that wigan got that last try was the way we tried to score that fifty pts and lost the ball,
not much of a crowd but then you can't force support through the doors, only through hear say and publicity will it come through the gates'"
Spot on snowie. the coaching staff should get a mention as well, who are they.

In the express the wigan coach has said where the best side his teams played against this year. And they've got some quality in, Havent seen jonh in a while on here
