Numbers wise our support last night was low, but the fact it was a friday and on sky will have impacted upon that unfortunately - and the fact the move of the game wasn't (that I saw) particularly well publicised by either club or the RFL in advance meaning people who needed to change work to get there couldn't. |

we need all the young kids in wakefield educated to follow wakefield instead of leeds. The kids grow up and follow the glory teams it happens just the same in football look how many man u shirts you see round here in stead of the local teams like leeds and huddersfield

Well, I was due to go and then the game was switched from Sunday to Friday night. The coach from St Helens would be leaving at 4.30 and I'm still at work then. So that was me and two others out of the running. I'm sure a number of other coach-reliant fans will have had similar problems. |

No idea why. Just is the way it is unfortunately! Presumably it's to take into account possible delays on motorways and such when hitting rush hour on a Friday night? To give peeps the chance for pre-match drinkies? Don't know whether that's true but it's all I can think of. I would have gone had I known someone willing to drive me over there. Alas, there was no-one. (Parking appears to be the stumbling block, a bit like at Saints I guess) |
